About Me
Loved hockey as a kid but never got the chance to play ice. In HS I played roller in the street with quads. I had these cool Microns. I thought they were the sh_t! After HS I played floor hockey in college and one season in a dek hockey league and that was it for me once marriage and and kids came. At the tender age age of 34 I decided to live my dream.
Lesson, clinics and open hockey followed. I started to skate and then I started to play and coach. By the time I was 42 I had my USA level 4 card, coached HS and played on two teams. Now I'm 50, recovered from more injuries than I care to think about (major hip surgery, a serious back problem, sport hernia and groin tear) and back on the ice 2-3 days a week. No matter how much I get hurt I'll always come back and I don't see myself ever quitting. This game has changed my life forever. I love the game, I love the gear, I love the camaraderie and I am obsessed.
When I am not pretending to be a hockey player I am married with two kids and an assistant principal at a local area HS.
