That's good news. It sucks not being able to do what you love because of a concussion but I cannot imagine the frustration it is for a person who makes his living ( and often knows nothing else) from playing hockey. It sucked for me not to be able to play for a while but just imagine if your whole life has been about playing hockey and then you can't. Kudos to David for the patience in such trying circumstances.

What intersection was it? Some of the cameras move around from box to box and the idea is that you never know if there is a camera in the box at the intersection you are at. However, some of them are permanent.

Ten days after getting concussed and still have this Goddamned headache.

It comes and goes for my wife but the biggest thing is dizziness. Some get it so they can barely stand for days at a stretch. She had dizziness issues for a while and they looked at bloodpressure before they diagnosed Miniere's. Seems to be one of those conditions that no one has heard of yet when you mention it several people seem to know someone with it.

Is it Miniere's disease.? My wife has this. Nasty bit of goods. Spent an afternoon on the floor with the room spinning with our then toddlers stepping over her until they diagnosed it.

Decide to go to a Friday night shinny. Turned out there were a thousand guys there who don't know the meaning of short shifts. Timed one guy in Gretzky jersey at 17 minutes! No lie. To make the waste of my time and money complete, I caught a rut in the ice (likely caused by prolonged exposure to faux Gretzky's body heat) wiped out and whacked my noggin pretty good. Headache now. Perfect.

You had her in a death pool? That's like getting Crosby or Ovechkin in a hockey pool.

Just a question for all the guys with these large collections of gear. Do you use it in games and just rotate or is it primarily for collecting purposes? I'm being serious. I love gloves and could get a new pair every week but with about seven pairs right now I find myself using a particular pair just because I feel guilty that I bought them and should use them. I'm thinking that with higher numbers it is likely more of a collecting thing. Same applies to sticks. I have too many and some just sit there for months collecting dust. Just curious.

Impulse stop to LHS. Decided to buy an 11k blade. Turns out the price marked on it was 25% less than it was supposed to be but the clerk gave it to me for the marked price (after telling staff to remove all the stickers on the rest of the blades in the bin). So, impulse spending is good.
