I'll have to double-check but I thought it had the 27 on it. I'm hoping they fixed the grip/peeling/chipping issues from the shafts. The new Dolo Spynes are disgusting. They look like something from Skull Candy. -

My brother picked up two AK27 one-pieces, a Draper and a Kovalev. They're gorgeous, but I let him go for the Kovalev as I wasn't sure where it falls in the hierarchy of high-end sticks. Again, right up there with the One95 to me in terms of beauty but FWIW they were $150 at a store where the Kroniks are priced at $240. -

Which one? The original one or the ones that just said "Convex" on them? The original ones are awesome and I'd give my third nut to find a batch of those. I think they were the HXC 5/6100s or something like that.

Niedermayer would certainly fill the "elite" requirement but I don't think he's worth any draft picks for how long they'd have him.

Since the SE is traditionally a crapshoot of a division, I don't think so. Also, there are good d-men in that division? I can think of a couple untouchables/prospects but not much else.

Not exactly. Niedermayer knows "defence" is in the name of his position. Regardless, I agree that this trade doesn't make sense other than the cap clearing.
