  1. I play once a week, intermediate calibre you could say. The Itech 655 Techlite shoulder pads retail for $99.99 + tax here in Canada. I was shopping around for a pair of shoulder pads that offered abdominal protection. Fit: These are the best fitting shoulder pads I've ever worn. All the individual sections of foam fit very snug and comfortably to your upper body. The abdominal protector is also very good. You cannot feel it while you are on the ice. Some lower priced shoulder I tried on in store were literally stabbing me in the stomach. Not one single part of these shoulder pads get in the way while playing. I do have a problem with getting my jersey over these shoulder pads. It always gets stuck at the shoulder caps. Protection: Before these shoulder pads, I was using a pair of Easton X-Tremes, which were inexpensive but didn't really offer any protection for the abdominal area. These shoulder pads don't leave anything exposed compared to other shoulders. Weight: With such a big pair of shoulder pads, I was expecting these to be bulky and heavy. Weight is definately not a factor with all the High Density Foams incorporated into this product. It feels as light, if not lighter, than my previous pair of shoulder pads but offers twice the protection. Durability: These Itechs have been a tank so far, but I don't think I can give a fair rating for durability quite yet. However, I doubt I will have to buy another set of shoulder pads in the future. Features: The ICEAIR moisture management system in the lining of the shoulder pads have pros and cons. When you first put on the shoulder pads you notice you are getting really warm. My previous pair of shoulder pads kept me cool throughout. However once you start playing, you don't notice this heat from the shoulder pads. At the end of the game the shoulder pads are kept almost bone dry thanks to the ICEAIR. The adjustable bicep seems like a pretty simple, but clever design. I didn't need to use it but it's good for people who have have trouble finding a set of shoulder pads long enough for their arms. The selling point for me was the abdominal protection. As a victim of taking a puck in the stomach, I highly suggest anyone playing hockey to use a set of shoulders with the abdominal protector. I will never go back to my old shoulders after using the Itech 655TL. Conclusion: Get these babies if you're in the market for a great set of shoulders and you can justify spending $100 on them. This is a great product from Itech and it encourages me to look at more of their protective equipment. I just wish it wasn't so hard to put my jersey on. 9/10
  2. The majority of one piece sticks are not one piece.
  3. I thought that's only for skates?
  4. Where'd you get the Canuck decals from?
  5. Thanks bud. I've heard of digital but have never seen it prior to purchasing these gloves.
  6. Nope, I know the retail X72 gloves have the MSH2 palms but the palms on my Lindens don't even have an Eagle logo on them. The palm could have been from another manufacturer. I'm not sure. Is there a rep for Eagle on this forum? = P
  7. I prefer split finger over precurved ones. Here's some pics of my palms. If anyone can identify it, please let me know!
  8. As seen in the Canucks Sale thread: Linden Eagle X72 Pro stock I have no idea what the palms are made of. Even my LHS has never seen it before. I will probably post pics later of the palms. and only the Inno 2000, Warrior Dolomite and Vapor XXXX are mine.
  9. ^^ Same thing happens to my pictures. CCM Tacks pants light up really well.
  10. Is that the 1xcel half visor I sold you way back when? How's it doing?
  11. Jay Bouwmeester makes my list...
  12. might as well update: Helmet: Nike HH0004 Skates: Nike Quest V-9 Sticks: Nike Quest 1 shaft, Vapor XX Shaft, Tri Flex Red/Silver cut down to fit tapered blades, CCM Vector 100 shaft. Are you related to ultraman7k?
  13. Where do get Vapor XX Customs?
  14. Woah, 6 XN10's? The tape jobs on your M-1, 6K, Stealth and Vector are still pretty new. How do you decide what stays home and what goes with you to the rink? = P
  15. I can't even tell what stick that is anymore. My guess is that it's a Tri Flex with a spray painted blade. I'm probably wrong. Nice gear btw.
  16. So which sticks do you actually bring to the rink? I never really liked the RBK helmets when I first saw them but I'm beginning to like the look of them.
  17. Leopard skin skate guards... never knew they made those haha.
  18. So how many out of that 76 do you bring to the rink?
  19. Z-Carbon, good choice :D I have the 100 Flex and it's TOO stiff to me... much too stiff, I think. Besides, these things run at almost $400HKD.. (US$50?) a pop... I think I'm going to get my brother in Toronto to either send or bring a shaft back... Two of the Z-Carbs and I'm looking at the price of a Z-Bubble! :o HK? Where is there a rink where you can play hockey in? I know in Tai Koo there's a figure skating rink in the mall. Man, I never knew people in HK played ice hockey, I've only seen roller hockey at most. It's so basketball and soccer crazed over there.
  20. Z-Carbon, good choice :D
  21. Nice Tackla's and Grafs
  22. Those animal pattern blade soakers near the end are pretty funky haha.
  23. The sticks don't really appeal to me. Correct me if I'm wrong but to me it seems like their wood products look really low end. I like a good wood blade here and there and I just don't see myself using a RBK or Reebok.
