Vapor XXX Lite Stick 12/1/05

Recommended Posts

The look of it is good enough that it won't prevent me from buying the stick. I am really starting to like my XXX despite jumping the gun on my purchase and getting the wrong curve/flex so I will probably pick up one of these and hope the first run doesn't bomb.

not anymore. Now that stick manufacture has changed from Mexico to China, they only make a few patterns.

I saw Jason Williams on the Red Wings using one tonight against Chicago. I'll be watching HockeyTown Authenics for one of those puppies

**correct me if I'm wrong, but Williams uses something close to a YP with 95 flex**

I bought my xxx lite on november 5th. I found it in a proshop at an ice arena that I was playing at in the chicago area. It's been a great stick so far. It seems durable and it has a really quick release. It was actually priced $10 cheaper than the regular xxx. I paid $169.95 for the xxx lite while the regular xxx was $179.95.

www.icewarehouse.com has them for $169.99 I believe.

On another note: I really like how these look. If I didn't just get a XN10 I'd probably get one in a Nazzy curve, but I like the nash better, closer to the toe.

Yeah I saw some XXX Lites at probably the same proshop that you did #28. Was it the place with the 2 indoor soccer "rinks"?

Yep that was the place. It was Gunzo's proshop at Darien Sportsplex.

Thanks, as corny as it sounds I actually prefer to build a relationship with customers. Quick sales are nice for the wallet over the short term, but it really should be about helping people find the gear that is going to suit them best. That's why the shop isn't open more than 12 hours a week without me being here.

what many companies dont realize is that if you build a lasting relationship with a consumer you bottom line will be larger in the long term. sure you might have more $$$ in year one by not caring about the customer, but if build a relationship, that customer will continue to go back to you because you offer the best mechandise and quality customer service, BTW chadd weres your store located?

thats also what our shop stresses. we have no problem with sending people elsewhere to find exactly what they are looking for, but theres many times when i get "we can deal with this. my business belongs ONLY here. been that way for many years, and thats not changing" gives employees a really good feeling, and a good sence of pride too.
