I like this little bit of the thread.

Stefan Grogg on the Swiss National Team loves our frames and wore them throughout the World Championsips in Detroit. He and his partners have a major LHS in Switzerland and they also have the Swiss distribution of Swiss Grafs.

He is, as we live and breathe, talking to Mr. Graf himself about making Sprung's frame part of Graf's first serious entry into roller hockey. From what I've been told, Mr. Graf has never been impressed with conventional frame performance and that's why he's stayed out of it. Stefan says that he thinks he can help get that opinion updated towards a Grag/Sprung package.

I WANT SOME! How about you guys?

Our rink has a wood floor with roll on and it has a lot more grip than sport court. Otherwise, I swap to rink rat wheels for the sport court.

I Play on wood floor sometimes, but never seem to get good enough grip off normal wheels like that, most people i know still use rink rats on wood.

The rink resurfaced the roll-on last October and its still very grippy. I could probably go harder than those 84A's after a fresh resurfacing. I wish all the rinks would use this surface because it allows for harder wheels, which means more speed. The puck does not slide quite as good as sportcourt but it still moves great.

Was originally going to put the frames on my D1's but I have a pair of new VS boots which I think I will put the frams on instead. I'll post pic up once they are mounted.

I hated my D1's. They were ok, but broke down within 6 months.

I didnt have a problem with my D1's i've used for about a year twice a week then upgraded to the HE950's...I noticed the stiffness btween the 2 skates i prefer stiffer skates in the HE950's which i use for games and the D1's still for drop in.

Old school!

Those were my first boots, what I learned to skate on. They came with the sure-grip rocker chassis, which I kept for curiosity sake.

They did goalie time, with my Fiziks aluminum aggro prototypes on them.

They got stolen, with the earliest version of this frame on 'em. Real leather, too- they seem to last well!

Keith, these are the boots I was telling you about. I also have a brand new pair of Proto VS just like these guys. They sure are old but the quality is amazing. You can tell they were really carefully crafted and assembled. They don't look like plastic assembly like skates like you get today, you know?... I'll be selling them in my eBay store shortly to help recoup the costs of my crazy frame buying sprees.

Those were my first pair of Missions :) (the VS)

I somehow managed to break the sole away from the chasis within the first month or two, but Customer Service was great. I think they are still floating around the block being passed on to different generations of road hockey players. I bought a pair for one of the players on my inline team and he loves'em too.
