I am not sure if Datysuk is still using the 9K...I first noticed in the Wings game against the Jackets. There were a couple of close ups and the stick looked like the wholes were painted on but I couldn't tell for sure.

Here is a pic...FYI I am color blind so I can't really tell

I believe the holes are there. You can see the white from the ice thriugh it and yellow through it where the bottom of the boards are....atleast that is what I believe I see.

Its painted, no shadow of a doubt.

those white holes on the upper part of the shaft are painted, the bottom 7 are actual holes, look at the 7th one up and you can see the yellow through on the boards

Very interesting concept. Im wondering how this thing will actually work. I for one will not be spending 200 bills on a stick anytime.. unless the thing is near indestructible. Would like to see how it plays though.

ya i work at the local hockey shop in our town. our ccm rep came to drop some stuff off on his way somewhere and i asked to see it. i thought it was going to sort of hokey but it feels like a great stick. if i can get the employee discount through ccm/rbk/adidas im going to get one.

I don't think durability is an issue. Datsyuk went through 9 full games before a stick broke, in game. Obviously who knows about practice or if he switched sticks between periods/games/etc..

Depending on the price, I would definitally pick up a Prostock Datsyuk if I ever see one.
