Exactly - I bowed it a bit and realized that I could probably use 100.

Anyone else having a flashback to the "Things Customers Do" thread? :P

If they went back to the handle shape of the original Stealth then count me in come November.

I bowed it over my legs. I'm not going to flex a rep's sample, come on now!

Just keeping you honest. I know I'll be visiting Jimmy's shop that first week these new twigs show up.

Speaking of which - there was a kid yesterday in the shop who was at a 45 degree angle yesterday flexing a stick. Hoo boy...

Please say it was his own! Haha did you say anything?

The kid would be at a 45* angle after he heard from me. I like to tell the kid, hey get me your stick, I want to see it. Then I flex his as hard as he flexed the shop stick.

This might sound weird, but the LHSes here actually advise me to flex their sticks before I choose which one to go with. The only thing they have a problem with is if kids flex shafts without blades in them.

last time i went stick shopping, the guy at the LHS flexed the piss out of the sticks i was looking for... nutso.

ummm so, curious if this sooper sekrit flex technology would have adverse effects if a short guy like me took a senior stick and cut a few inches off it.

ever been to a peranis? when i was a little bit younger i was looking at the vector 120 stick when it first came out, i didnt know what a regular flex was so i ask an employee, the kid literally has both feet off of the ground balancing on the stick.... great employees

Even my interest has been piqued with all this discussion, maybe this one will end my 11-year Easton stick-less streak?

Any idea if there'll be adjustments to the warranty deal on these things? New product, major changes, possible major problems?...just curious.

Why no Drury? I already had the savings pile ready for this stick but only Forsberg/Sakic/Iginla patterns? I mean c'mon now, everyone knows the Drury curve and the likes are the best curves out there.

For the 5000th time, it doesn't sell as well at retail.

Went to Family Sports this week and saw the Avs have informal pratice. Svatos was using the s17 and it looks cool anyhow.

Solid black with huge silver Easton written on it. The s17 logo is towards the bottom in white and blue lettering. Simple but very cool looking.

Performance? Hell if I know.

They'll have a full lineup of flexes and patterns in the Spring.

Ponty - S17 is not white and blue - that was reflection off the ice. It's chrome.

I assume grip versions will show up in the spring as well.
