Best Non-Tapered Shaft?

Recommended Posts

All of the aforementioned shafts are great. I have also had really good luck with the CCM Vector 6.0 shaft. It's not going to perform as well as some of the $100 shafts like the Warrior, but its only about $50, and mine has proven to be very functional and durable.

For me, TPS REDLITE XN10 (Whip Flex) or Easton UL (Hull Pro Returns with MM Z-Bubble look)

I have a pair of the Redlite XN10's in the Whip flex, and one of the new R6 shafts in the whip flex. The R6 shaft feels great, but is a touch more heavy than the Redlite....making the balance point just a touch off. But still a fantastic shaft. Best shaft ever....the Redlite. If you can find one in a flex that you like, then I would pick it up in a heartbeat.

There was a few threads on the NBH one90 shaft and alot of people seem to be very happy with it. I haven't used it myself but you might want to read those threads if you do a search because from what they say its an excellent shaft.

Christ, mack; recommend a shaft he'll never find, why don't you?

Well that's true, but I've hoarded a nice collection and he seems wylie enough where he may be able to find one. I think the rarest stick (at least in terms of me trying to find) are Z-Core 7100s with the updated graphics.

I've been debating between the Ultra Lite and the One90 given that they're the same price in all the sites that I've visited. I've heard a lot about the Redlite XN10 shaft. I'll still do probably look around a little more before I decided on which one I want. Right now though given the responses I've gotten, it seems that it's a tie between the Ultra Lite and the Redlite XN10 with the One90 as a distant third. Does anyone have any experience with the One90 Shaft? There already seems to be plenty of feed back on the other ones.

my vote's in for the one90, and it's slightly cheaper. you really can't go wrong with any of the shafts mentioned in this thread, though.

What blade do you pair with the R6?

And where are all of you people finding these Redlite XN10s?!?!?! No retailer or website (that I know of) has them. Hockeygiant, hockeymonkey, epuck, inlinewarehouse, totalhockey.net, hockey.lax.com, hockeyworld.com...none of these sites have senior Redlite XN10.

I am about ready to settle for an R6 but I have read much less about it than the redlite xn10.

Sherwood RM19 standard shaft with a easton Z-carb blade. Absolutely the best combo out there.
