It looks like they aren't far removed from the One90's...if you flip the colours, they actually look more like a mash-up of the One90 and the Vector 10's.

I don't know..all Gomez's gear looks pretty old school to me..Even with the new CCM logo on the gloves, they seem to fit the whole look. If you look at other pics of him from that game you'll see he has such old pants that not only is it the old silver nhl logo, but the orage one haha..

Interesting tape job for Gomez too, I cant think of many other players who do it like that (no tape under the knee).but hey..it obviously works for him

I've seen many pics of various players wearing traditional looking Rbk gloves like these instead of the 9k style gloves, are these gloves "new" and will hit the market sometime soon?

The little flap by the RBK logo is a dead giveaway....CCM Pro Tacks with nylon.

I can't see why players still wear that helmet. I wore mine for years when it was the best you could get, and played it safe and got another one after.

NHL players can use any equipment they want (unless sponsored by a certain company), so they can try new things. My request to CCM, is to make a dual density helmet with that shell. I'd be lining up to buy one.

on the topic of st.louis, does anyone know why easton still paints his sticks yellow? isnt that some what of a no no in marketing terms? i understand he likes the original synergy grip, or whatever is hiding under that paint job, but wouldnt it make sense that easton would paint that stick like a cnt stealth or one of their other current year sticks just strictly for marketing purposes?

yeah i was wondering that too, it's not like it's the old synergy grip paint job, they're custom painting it.

It probably has something to do with yellow color, maybe its easier for him to stickhandle/shoot. His first breakout season was when he was using the yellow synergy, so it could be superstition...who knows.
