The funny part is that when the rep came through here, he told us that the new '08 whites were only available in the 7k version. I asked about Antropov and Kostyitsin and got the run-around. Hard to figure.

He's just a lowly district rep, not a bad-ass pro-rep!

Might be hard for him to get them and he's trying not to lose face.

pens been doing the "fans appreciation night, shirts off our backs" for as long as i can remember.

The Flyers do it every year, and the Caps just did it Saturday night. Ovechkin through his stick into the crowd at the end of the game too, and landed about 6 rows in front of where I was in section 100.

On HNIC yesterday Cherry was talking about one boston player who had a yellow stick for home games and a black stick for away games but I think he was just switching between a dolomite and a yellow mac daddy. Anyone else see this or know what player this was?

Savard. In the clips they showed, the black stick was a CCM U+ and the yellow was a Warrior.

Savard's "Mac Daddy" is a repainted Dolomite, he also uses a actual painted Dolo at times, such as when he scored the OT winner in Game 3. He has also been trying out the CCM U+ in warm-ups and during the odd shift, but for the most part it's a Dolomite.

In the middle of tonight's game, the equipment manager (I think) was bringing a few of Savard's sticks and they were definitely Dolomites.
