I brought up Avery because I thought, as Mack pointed out, that it was ironic he was labeled as the NHL's Most Hated Guy, yet there's guys skating out there with 4,5,6 violent suspensions on their record and nobody mentions them.

So, lemme get this straight, Mr. IslanDUH fan. Avery is piece of shit because he talks and is chippy and turtles. But Simon is a stand up guy so it's ok when he two-hands people's faces and jumps on their legs with his skates on?

ok if you read a previous post I posted in here I think I never said what Simon "was a stand up guy". It was extremely uncalled for, and he should be suspended. I was simply saying I dislike Avery and I was pointing out how he is a chippy player, but I have never seen him do anything that could be career ending so I can see why he was voted most hated player in the NHL.

Lucky for Ruutu it didn't seem to do much damage. But kicking a guy? It looked more like a stomp to me. And as we all know, stomping with a skate on is the same as taking a knife to someone.

You both need to shut it with the 'jokes' about First Nations issues. I've taught in a First Nations community for a long time now. None of what you've joked about is funny. If you've seen the effects of alcoholism, fetal alcohol syndrome, violent abuse, and poverty on native youth and adults, there's no funny side.
