Crosby whining?

I never said Sid was the first and I have ripped other players who have done it. See the kovalev topic from the playoffs a couple years ago. Perhaps there is a reason that Sid's name seems to come up more often than others and perhaps that reason has nothing to do with being a "hater". Just something to consider.

Off course his name seems to come up more often than others, he's hockey's biggest superstar. Every move he makes is analyzed.

I refuse to think Crosby's a fake master because of other people's accusations. He may be but i haven't seen something that obvious to make me change my mind yet but again, i don't watch many penguins games. The kid plays with emotion and it shows when he gets hurt.

Call me a nancy, but i've taken lighter slashes than that and had to cease playing. The body is sensitive. I'm not Sid unfortunately so i cannot say what it was in his case.

Wasn't the joke about Sid that he embellished and whined too much his first year? I thought he had given that up and just started playing.

I thought the league does monitor individual plays. I know they do in the NBA. Certainly if a play is in question, they can easily go back for review.

So 102 points in hsi first yea r and 120 in his second doesn't count as started playing? I mean if he can whine and still score that many, let him whine all he wants IMO. I mean, I know what you mean, but he's been playing + all the whinning.

You can bitch and moan and still score points. My comment had nothing to do with his offensive stats and everything to do with him being a whining kid. So much so, that the veterans on the team that year were hesitant to stick up for him sometimes.

There is actually much more whining done by people whining about Crosby whining than Syd actually whines himself; the irony is palpable. If Syd was on their team, drawing a penalty by embellishing would be a "savvy play, most expected by a vet, not a third year player." When he bitches, people would "love the intensity and fire he shows on the ice."

The Syd-bashing is nothing more than pettiness on the part of other teams' fans, most of whom haven't seen him play more than a handful of games.

Sidney Crosby is a warrior and he would never "fake" anything. He may be exagerating his pain but still, the pain IS there. And who's going to take a painful slash without whining? I wouldn't.

Are you actually thinking you just found the proof that Crosby fakes? Well you fail. From that angle, Lapierre's stick is not visible and look at how he holds it at the face off.

From that angle, in the replay, you can see clearly that lapierre just shoves him with his left hand, and his stick is not spearing him.

But, keep on rocking inthe free world if thats what you want to believe.

I thought that slash was pretty valid for complaining. I think he does whine a bit but he does play with pain (broken foot last season). He can score too.

I'm a fan of Crosby, but maybe if he didn't try to slew-foot Ference, he wouldn't have ridden him into the corner like that...
