haha. I can thank my gf for the gear it was a nice gift. I heard the 1 oclock got all the gear from the scrimmage people. I wish I was in that group. Newer sticks, gloves, and chance for an Alzner jersey.

you could probably contact someone from their marketing/promotions department. You would think they would try to make as much money as possible, given the fact that they hurt in attendance.

they dont do the sale during the draft party. i got edge socks from the draft party. the only other stuff they were selling is whats left in the store from the past 5 years (black and red mitts, old beat up skates, satan silver synbombs, ect...)

they do a big team sale in late august usually and i was jut wondering if anyone heard any details about it.

Bringing up an old thread here. Does anybody know when the Canucks have their equipment sale? I ran a search and saw the last threads about the sales were in the summer and around December. Did this years sale already happen?

The Canucks sale will only happen in the summer this year. The date usually doesn't get confirmed until their season is done.

Last year the wings had theirs sometime in june. But noone really knows the dates for these things until the season is over.

Teams usually have their sales after the season is over. I got some equipment from the rangers in the middle of May last year because by that time, their season was over. The wings didn't have their sale until June because thats when their season wrapped up. One thing I have noticed is the worse a team does the better a haul you get. Players are up and down from the minors alot and get traded and leave team colored items (gloves, pants, helmets) behind.

I know some teams give the head up to season tickets holders first. I believe that was how the red wings did it last year as i heard about the sale through a fan forum. i was unable to attend but im looking to going this year. im looking forward to the local toledo walleye sale after there season is over as its closer and im sure cheaper as theyre ECHL.

Some teams have sales, some teams sell to individuals who then resell, some teams hire people to sell it for them. It varies from team to team.

The Columbus sale is decent, but you can get a lot of stuff during the season at the games or i think thru the Blue Line at the same prices they were selling stuff for at last year's sale. It's definitely worth checking out the actual sale, but they do a decent job of selling stuff all season.
