Is anyone else having a problem getting those EASHL games going? I got a few guys on my team (Whiskey Tango if anyone wants to play us or join us!) and we tried for like 45 minutes to get a game last night, but couldn't find any other teams.

Ha I kind of have the same problem. I chose a team randomly to be on and ended up with the Habs. The Bulldogs roster is full of grinders and playmakers. Good job coaching staff!

Was wondering, it seems that if you pick a toe curve my wrist shot has scored me more goals lately, but how much does the different radius increase your players skating ability? Is it extremely noticeable?

I was playing my friend yesterday and he could wind up from the blue line skating in and blow slappers past my goalies all day long, how the hell come I cant do that? :(

Did manage to beat him 3-2 thanks to some good old dump and chase and throw it to the slot plays :)

the stick lift is killing the game, theres no muscle action involved with the protect the puck, you just get hit and youre down...

Also the shot strengh is weak...

point man skating is bad...

Alright, im on the Phantoms and my guy is suppose to me a playmaker. BUT in the two games ive played so far hes had 4 or 5 goals and no assits, ive checked to see if i can change him to a sniper or something, all of his goals are slappers from right over the blue line and im on pro im not that good. Theres no way to change him from playmaker to something is there?

I always turn the music off from day one, because I can't stand the stuff they pick. However, the custom soundtrack feature has probably been my favorite addition to the game. Nothing like hearing music you actually like throughout the game.

Can one of you guys walk me through the Custom audio feature? I'm in the Rangers' system, and I would like to have the Rangers' goal horn and goal song play after my team scores. I have the mp3 of the audio. I'd also like to add some other songs as well. Someone help!

If one of you guys could help me that would be great. PM me or post on here. If its really complicated, I could give you my phone number, and you could walk me through.

I know it might be a huge pain, but it would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Just got 09. Does anyone here know the code to release the third jerseys. For 08 it was leaked like two weeks before EA released it. Anyone know the deal?

I'm not sure if this is true or not but I have read on other boards that the code is not going to be revealed until all of the 3rd jerseys are revealed to the public first.

Both games are doing that. Last year some idiot leaked it and the NHL was so pissed they considered removing the license from EA.

Yes I have the mp3 and I was able to edit it in garage band so that way I can get straight to the chorus and also combine it with kernkraft400 for ultimate authenticity. Gotta love garage band, custom soundtracks and ocd!

Load the song onto your hard drive. Go to media (in the dashboard) and select music, make a new playlist. Select only the one song/audio file. Save the playlist as something specific (i.e. GOAL HORN).

Launch NHL09- go to the custom audio - go to NYR- go down to "score a goal" and change the playlist from "default" to "GOAL HORN".

Repeat as neccessary. Don't do multiple songs to the playlist unless you want the game randomly choosing, you pick playlists, not songs. There are only 8 or so options- goal scored, intermission, intro, etc.

How do you do it in Garage Band?

Go to the media browser on the lower right and the track has to be in your iTunes and select it/drag it from there. There an arrow in the track tat shows a drop down with either track volume and track pan. That lets you do fade ins / outs as well as switching left and right.
