Hopefully not... In a EA sim it said Gagner is only getting 8 points this year. It was on TSN. Hopefully its just wrong for Gagner and not Perron

There are more and more things about the game I wish were different. I don't want the clock to go transparent in the penalty box, a timer for major penalties (fights), and more detail to look around at on the bench between whistles.

JR, so your songs are still stored on your computer? And you have to have your computer on while playing so they can stream?

I was able to import songs into NHL 2k9 by using Winamp Remote. All I have to do is create a playlist (1 or how many songs I want) and attribute it to the action. Plays perfect quality and streams through XBox Live.

I never understood how to get Winamp Remote working. What exactly does it do?

Winamp Remote allows you to access your songs/videos when you are away from your computer.

Microsoft Zune (old Windows Live Connect, what XBox recommends you do) does the same thing, however, it's a memory hog.

Lol, I also have this situation, CCM HT2, 10 goals in 20 games, Bauer 8000 with a visor, I'm at 80 goals in 70 games played.

Finally succumbed to the Be A Pro. Hot damn do the Lowell Devils suck ass. I think the computer's scored maybe three goals when my line (still on the third) isn't out there.

So in the NHL I ended up with 52 GP 75g 32a third in league scoring, first line in the NHL, this game gets easier the more you play.

Do you guys all use the 90 flex when picking a stick? Because it gives the best stats...I don't see any reason picking another flex.

I do. I generally use the mid curve for any stick as well since I hate shots that tail.

Also noticed something for the first time in my last game. I never whore myself to get a line change and let them happen when they do for the most part, but all of a sudden I couldn't "B" myself onto the ice. I thought maybe I got benched, but I had a B+ on positioning (honestly my lowest since playing) and A- on team play. Then for some reason I got put out on a PK, scored a SHG and never saw the ice for the rest of the period. Then I got into a fight (and got tuned) with a minute to play in the game. Christ I love this game.

One quick question how do I get my real name in the EASHL? right now I can't play in the EASHL but I do have a created team (I created it) but it shows my username and then under the real name spot it just go "-"

any one know why this is?

I love this game , the only thing that gets me is to many marque players get moved around. On the canadiens my top player now is Pleakanec and Kostitsyn

Yeah, in 08 the computer made no moves, and in 09 they make trades and roster moves daily.

Anyone else disappointed with the fighting? The grab was a nice addition, but they're so fast and all you have is punch. That, and anytime you hit Y a fight breaks out, even if you jump off the ice.

I love this game but at the same time Im kinda disappointed... No video for a hat trick, line changes after icing calls, every other team in the league is making all these moves and the Pens havnt done a single thing since calling me up from the minors. Noone on my team ever gets even the slightest of injuries, and it seems everytime the game goes into OT the computer scores a bang bang one timer goal. The revamped fighting still sucks in my opinion, one or two hits and the fight is over and the grab is useless because if you try to use it you get demolished.

Played a friend today I had over 30 shots and he had 7 (never playe before lol) and he beat me 1-0. Kolzig was unbeatable. Makes no sense.

Still extremely addicting. I just think they could still do much better

I did shooting practice just to dink around and fired a hat trick of slappers against Turco, with 3 more assists and a ton more fired straight to the post or near misses. Not a lot of missed or useless shots (into the belly, etc). Sat around most of the game after that, long stints on the bench most of the 3rd.

Does practice actually improve your game? I didn't memorize my stats to notice if shooting went up and my overall didn't increase.

I'm having the same problem, but slightly different. Instead of showing nothing, it shows an incorrect name.

EA is not too much help either. :(
