Not quite. Just appears to be a XXXX with a different colorway and the X:60 tendon guard.

I was thinking maybe they were the new Vapors in disguise. Must be new to him because he was still wearing Vectors Thursday night in Long Island.

I don't have any pics and not sure if it's been mentioned or not but watching highlights from the Boston vs. Washington game the other night they showed a shot of Ovechkin sitting on the bench holding his stick and it appeared to have an Oggie grip on it... it was on the screen for just a couple seconds but it sure did look like that sword handle curved butt end.

If he did it must be a recent thing because pictures of Ovie's sticks (the ones with the cartoons) have been posted here and I've seen his sticks at the Verizon center none had that grip.

I think he's one of the few players that isn't superstitious, or actually he is really superstitious and has to use new equipment every week. lol

Anyways. Gomez is back in his old Vector skates and CCM Tacks mitts with a Reebok 10k and old CCM Bucket. Don't think that is going to improve his game at all....

The only thing that guy hasn't tried changing to improve his game, is putting that Good Old Devils jersey back on hahaha

Imagine he was a member on here haha.

He probably lurks :D On another note the Pens light blue uni's look so awesome. White chin straps and loops are a thing of beauty.

Haha good point. still tho, with the amount of money warrior spends you figure it wouldnt be a big deal for them to keep federov

Sure they spend a lot of money?

I love how people assume they are throwing $ around. Maybe they offer something the old company doesn't? For example, Reebok stopped making sticks the way Jagr liked when he was with Koho, so he switched to NBH because they made him a stick that were close to the original spec's he liked.

Not very likely. Warrior's like the girl in school that never went home alone after a party because she'd do anything to have a guy, even for only one night.

Exactly

They spend a lot of money giving the pros exactly what they want, not bribing them.

Reebok's probably also trying to rebuild brand image, what with how nasty the last gen of their sticks were. Especially after Warrior went after franchise players that represented all the other big companies it's a taste of their own medicine.

This is the first generation of composite they have ever made that was worth anything.
