Well, no, the vintage logo is the one on the hat.

What is that picto-logo supposed to represent next to the type?

That was the old logo - if you notice carefully, the Flying B that came out during the early 00s came out of that logo.

In all honesty (and I think you're with me on this, JR) I really, really, REALLY don't understand the obsession with this logo. Bauer was bought by Nike and then became NikeBauer, but has since been dropped by Nike and will again be referred to simply as Bauer. Not BaUER. Not BaUer. Just "Bauer." Christ.

im gonna go ahead and agree with that, its bauer no matter where capitals, no one who isnt on this website is going to give two shits if the a is capital or lowercase, and i dont really see why anyone on here cares. just my opinion.

That "negative space" logo preceded the "flying 'B.'"

The logo (in its entirety - both the text and the symbol) on the hat is the vintage version.

It is supposed to be a wing coming off the 'b'

It's the fact that it is only the outline of the wing, rather then it being filled in all white, that makes it confusing.

Yes, so when they redid the logo in the '00s, they merely swapped it.

The logo on the hat a few post ago is not going to be the official logo for bauer. It was simply a logo they used for that particular apparel line. The new logo will not have any flying "B" in it. It will simply be just the bauer name.

ya guys it obviously took a couple of days. god catch up with the times. everyone should know if the letters in bauer are capitilized now or not it totally matters
