Mission glove appreciation thread

I'd love to see some more gloves, specifically some of those that came from Justin a few months ago. I have some pics saved but I'd like to see pics from the members that own the gloves in case there are any questions. :)

I bought one or two from Justin, will post when I have the chance to take a pic.

Didnt Justin have a fire sale on here last summer/fall? I bought a really nice pair of U of MN M-1 gloves for a steal. They're a well-built glove. TBL? Why do you think glove manufacture has declined across the board? I really dont buy stock gloves other than my retail NBH 4 rolls & Sande gloves

You want the best example, take a look at TPS gloves. Look at the original R8 Pro models and compare it to the latest R8s and R10 gloves. They feel and look cheap. Look at RBK retail gloves. The list goes on but that's not what the thread is about.

I wish I could get my hands on these for under $100. I think these went for $120 on eBay.

I have a pair of the black Bilt-Rites in immaculate condition - i'll post a pic tomorrow. Had 2 pairs, kept these ones good somehow...

Worst Glove: Seven1Four - Great concept, but poor execution

I have a brand new pair of Yellow Bilt-Rite Works gloves at my house. I started the bright color glove trend even before I work at Mission. I ordered a custom pair of all yellow gloves, and everyone loved them so much, that they made them available to retail. I still have them in my office.

I will post some pics of the gloves I still have around...

yeah, the Seven1Four's had a reversible cuff that I think were meant to change around for better protection if you were a lefty or righty. I loved those gloves, they were great for summer roller hockey, very well ventilated and very durable. still hoping Justin can find an extra pair for me laying around somewhere.

Man, I really miss my old red/white/blue Mission Sub-Zero gloves. I don't even remember what I retired them for... maybe my first custom Eagles? As much as I love the Eagles, I miss those missions. I even bought a second pair of the exact same glove when the first ones went sour!

I have to go on record saying that I HATED the three finger gloves. I could just never get used to my fingers touching together in the glove. Felt weird to me.

I agree completely with the L7, fantastic glove.

The one thing I might change about the L7 is the index finger, simply because I don't need it to be that flexible. A single-piece index finger might actually be better for me than the 3-piece finger(well, on the upper hand), just for the added protection.

Read this thread and decided to grab a pair of pro L7 gloves. All I can say is WOW! They are a nice-fitting glove (I don't like a terribly loose fit and these are a decent fit in the 14" size but I realize pro gloves may vary). As-is they are quite flexible and have a good stick feel which should only get better. I'm tempted to grab another pair while I can. Nothing like debating what gloves to wear, lol. Now have 2 pr of Eagle PPF's (one retail/one custom), 2 pr of Easton pro 4-rolls, pr of RBK pro 9K, pr of CCM '09 4-rolls, and the Missions. All are nice and fit well so it's hard to figure out what to grab before heading out the door.

ive had my missions for 3 years and have worn them till there is literally no padding left and let me tell you ive bought three different brands of gloves since then and have not been as happy with them( bauer, easton, and rbk)... maybe its just because im not used to them but i dont plan on buying anything other then missions untill i become unsatisfied

I've got a pair of Fuel 130 retail and a pair of fuel 130 pro stock. Love them both! maybe i should grab one more pair to be safe! only other glove i would consider at moment would be the warrior ak27 pro.

Negative on the Hawks being replaced. That's the one color scheme I've been looking for forever though I only found a pair of M-1 Pros, not pro M-1's (if that makes sense).

Yeah, that's why I picked them... Canadians and Hawks are the only M-1 Pros I see.

here's what I've got... I'm still using a pair of black matrix gloves from 5 years ago. Palms are still in excellent condition, with only a small hole. 5 years aint bad for a pair thats been used week in week out, playing twice a week (something 3 times).

Hockey Monkey still seems to have quite a few pairs of pro stock M-1s. You should check there.

Those Black and Red M-1 Pros are what I'm using now and i would love to know your address to come take those from you :P.

Had to have a second pair after the first went out and they're still worth every penny I paid for them.
