The roller version of that looks much better. The black, red and gray of the holder are the tie ins to the pattern on the skate that the Ice version completely lacked.

Really one of those, "Oh, so that's what they were thinking!" moments.

Not sure if I should be pissed or take it as a compliment that bauer jacked my idea for blacked out vapors for the X60 LE. It'd be nice to hear from bauer if they actually designed the LE after seeing my blacked out 40's or were they planning it before hand. If they did steal my "design" they totally owe me some money or free gear at the least, a pair of X60 LE would do the trick.

Yeah, Bauer owes you and 15,000 other PHEWies big time. The Sharpie Brigade deserves all the credit in the world for the X:60 LE.

IW has the X60 stick up for order, and one of the features is this:

"Intelli-Sense shot technology through advanced engineering the flex profile of the shaft can now sense the type of shot based on the positioning of the player's hands. This results in maximized loading for optimal performance on wrist or slap shots."

Is this even possible?

There will never be a OPS built that has any idea what my hands are doing! Christmas, even I don't know what I'm doing!

The regular X60 looks a lot better than the Stick 'Um version (the one that's already been seen a bunch??) in my opinion. I'm glad Bauer stuck with the understated black design. Not too sure what their magical psychic flex technology is though. I wonder how the puck feel will compare to the One95?

Unfortunately I could not take a pic, but I saw the most wild skates of my life at a practice yesterday. I am guessing someone who knows a cobbler meshed 3 or more skates together? I was curious if anyone had ever seen these white whales...

The graphics said Bauer Vapor XXXX. It was not the NBH logo, just Bauer. The "E" in bauer was capitalized like the bauer part of the NBH logo and not the new logo.

The skates graphics looked almost like an Easton synergy. Picture the white synergy with:

All of the leather on the skate was white. There were no patterns or silver inlays. Bauer logo where the easton logo is and XXXX logo where the se16 logo is.

What is the carbon fiber on the synergy was all black. Looked similar to the black material Mission has used in the past.

Super long tongues that were folded over and extended almost all the way to the toe cap... No Joke

The "SFL" logo circa vapox XX on the outside of the heel.

The word "Ainsworth" was on the heel. It was in back writing on white leather. Did a google search and did not see anything relevant

Vapor XXXX tuuks, Looked like Vapor XXX to box. There skate did not appear to have any ribbing, like the vapor serious, and was not form fit, like the one series

Anyone ever see a skate like this? JR?!?!?!?!?

Saw an X60 yesterday and wasn't all that impressed. The guy using it had the P14 curve, and agai, I was disappointed haha. Not the type of curve I was hoping for...

I for one, love the p14 curve on my ID one95, low blade profile and just the right amount of curve and openness. Basically the naslund minus the large toe that i didnt care too much for.

TBL used it and said there is less puck feel than the One95, but is lighter and stiffer.

Yeah I remember reading that. I would assume the pro stock blades are different from the retail ones, but maybe not. The pro stock One95's have good puck feel, as good or better than the retail one I used. I'd be interested in trying out an X60, but I'll wait and hear some reports first.

My X:60 is a retail makeup but with one95 graphics. It was a sample for Samsonov to try.

One95s have great feel, the Vapor simply doesn't. It's a very stiff blade but you don't really feel anything on it.

Speaking of Samsonov, I have a pretty nice One90 coming in of his that has a pretty unique curve on it compared to my one95 of his. Looks almost like a Kovalchuk than his current flat heel/major open toe. The nice thing about it is that it appears to be on a Sakic type of blade rather than his smaller toe ones. I'll post pics when it comes in.

The X:60 I have is actually a P92. I think that has more to do with it being a sample... but he has been known to torch and add a toe kink to some blades, so who knows what was ordered for what reason... We'd have to ask Wally about that.

Looks like Bauer's engineering department is taking off without nike to me

Nothing changed, Nike had nothing to do with it. They weren't the hockey guys.

We'll take that statement to our graves, no matter how many times you say it!
