It's an intellectual property issue, they don't feel comfortable divulging much information.

Oh and remember when I said Gonchar wouldn't be the only one in the skates? Keep an eye on a few more of the Penguins this year.

Quick question regarding gear during training camps. I saw pictures of Toews in training camp using a Vapor 60 stick instead of his usual Easton. Do sponsorship deals exclude training camps? Also, if a player decides to stop using a particular piece of equipment (Ovechkin with the one95, or Malkin not using Bauer skates) do they lose a certain percentage of money from their deal? It seems to me that NHL pro sponsorships are a lot less restrictive than other sports.

Not new gear but it looks like 95% of the Canucks are in Bauer skates. Only saw one other pair in the training camp photos, and that includes the Sedin's who are sporting one95's.

maybe Gino is doing something similar with what kovalchuk does. having his skates dressed up. they dont like Kor or Torspo or anything. Maybe its an old bauer model that he has dressed up as something...

They almost look like a Torspo skate aesthetically...Probably a hell of a lot lighter though

Malkin in Torspos would be a huge coup. Especially since every Torspo product in the NHL is made by somebody else. Maybe they're Torspos built by Bauer. hehe

What kind of Graf is Sturm in? I thought he wore t-Blades on his Grafs previously.. I could be wrong though.

As for Torspo skates, they're good for Rec/Beer league..bout it..super comfortable

I don't recall Sturm ever using T-Blades. You might have him mixed up with a couple of the other German players who have used them.
