Display looks good! The glove will need to grow on most people. IMO would look best as a single color glove or with a different cuff color.

Our X:60 display arrived today too. It looked like the delivery man was unloading a bauer refrigerator the box was so large. DS, did you know this was coming? We just got an e-mail from our rep this morning saying it was on the way. As far as the gloves are concerned, they do look pretty funky. I'll agree with those who said they'll look better in a solid colorway.

I think the design is brilliant. It's a modern 4-roll design with "breaks" to appeal to the younger guys, while having the slanted 4-roll design for the more traditional crowd. It's perfect for the people that like the 4-roll design but want a slimmer fit.

I also like the XXX style cuff roll.

Thats the first thing I thought of too, with the Fuel 120-style layered armadillo cuff thingy.

I like the backroll design, but I'm not too keen of the cuff design. The cuff looks really long like it has built in wrist protection, ala the new Reebok 10k's.

Agree on the cuff roll. What would make it more appealing to me would be to have that glove not a cuff above the cuff roll.

I think the cuff is just split up with graphics. After looking at another picture of the X:60s it leads me to believe the cuff is more similar to the XXXX cuff.

The thumb looks kind of like a modified Mission Fuel thumb.

I've had the same issue, you can find some pro stock XXXs with lock thumbs... muuuch better.

I was in Pro Hockey Life yesterday and the photo was with Eric Staal instead. He was rockin then new "unknown" bauer helmet..5500-esque

I can't wait for that to come out either

Yeah, there's been a photo of that in the gear sightings thread. Shell is very close to the 5500, but the padding looks like the single layer VN from the 3500.

At least the one he was wearing then was. They might have made him wear the real deal for the photoshoot. Does the photo have an angle where you can see the padding?

Fit's a cross between those two gloves.

The new lid also sounds very good as well - especially for you 5500 wearers.
