I just got my new pair of Warrior Franchise gloves today and all I can say is wow! The feel is amazing! I did not realize how much I was missing! The palm feels like a second piece of skin and so very light!

agreed on the cuffs i had to cut mine, but i like really loose cuffs like on nike/bauer stuff.

Great new options, long time coming, props. Only downside with customs is the price. Price imo needs to be dropped 10%, I know if that were the case, then we'd sell more custom pairs thru our shop, and therefore make more money. But since the price is steep it's pretty hard to talk people into them; although everyone who has got one hasn't been disappointed.

Although I got to give you guys a huge amount of props, Bauer who also sells their custom sticks directly to the consumer doesn't give the shops their portion of the cut. Huge props on giving certified Warrior dealers their portion.

I was wondering the same thing.

I asked in the 2010 Warrior catalog about the white AK27 shaft Ryan Smyth is using, and the possibility of its availability to the public. A shaft customizer would be GREAT, but if anything I'm sure Warrior would just do OPS customization. I'll just keep dreaming...

Wonder what sort of what marketing Warrior could produce to make reference to their new shaft customizer. :P

I do like Warrior gloves but add me in the category of people that think they're overcharging for what you get... but if they're selling them, why should they drop the price? That would just be stupid... I mean hell, I've been considering buying a custom pair but they're over $300 and I'd have to roll the dice to see if they'll do something not in the customizer.

I'd be confident to say that we have been pretty easy to work with when it comes to custom mods. Many of the new pro blocking have been done in the past for consumers who worked closely with their dealers and on the customizer. We have an internal team dedicated solely to custom orders and they do a great job.

see glove customizer, click pro styles, click NYR and change the colors to edmonton's.

I really like the new layout. I played around with it a bit. great idea to offer the most popular designs with the ability to change the colors. But, I'm on the overpriced boat too. It's just a lot of money to drop on gloves. Although that doesn't change the drooling! I still want a pair. time to save my pennys

Those Canuck Kovies look amazing. And if you take the rangers and switch them to Edmonton the cuff color ends up being different than the fingers.

This is really great for people like me that are visual learners and enjoy the ability to see a design/layout instead of talking it out over the phone. Very nice, Warrior.

As someone who is a grizzled old man when it comes to hockey/ gear (my entire career can be described with cooper, bauer, and eagle gear) Warrior continues to peak my interest and appreciation. Really enjoyed speaking with them at the MSH skate (maybe that was Miseaujeu?) and, once I'm making a salary and not just a stipend, would love the chance to try out some of their stuff.

...hopefully this come off as a complement, haha.

Ya I like the new options on there, just disapointed you still can't get the warrior lettering stitched on even after spending all that money.

This comment is not new.

We have used screen only option for the life of the Franchise both at retail and pro. The reason we use screen only is to keep the weight down and having a clean look for our logo. When the two RRs, on the racing stripe model, come together it looks a little messy.

And there's no way to get this as an option, correct? Even if you pay extra, and it's not the "racing stripe" model?

I know it isn't a new addition to the website, but a quick question regarding the Pro-Pack option on the gloves - is the thumb locked only? I currently have a pair of Pro FUBARS and it has a pocket inside for the thumb to slip into and also a loose thumb. Sorry for the hijack
