Slapshot9123 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 The other day at drop in I had a hard time deciding on witch of my 4 pairs of gloves I should wear. I clearly have a problem because I am in the process of getting another pair of PPFs after getting a new pair of skates and a helmet. Thankfully I have job or I would not be able to fulfill my gear whoredom. I don"t know how people with 10+ pairs of gloves decide on witch to wear haha. I started the daily hockey deals blog in my sig cause I liked finding deals through here and other sites... the only problem is I am getting emails ahead of sales from the online retailers.. I keep buying more stuff.. I think I have spent like 350 bucks today on stuff I dont need but mainly cause its on sale and they offered me a discount for listing it HAHA!!! OH well !!! TBLfan 25 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 I recently was screwing around on the ice with a LH intermediate stick(My friend's gf's stick). It's roughly the same height as the sticks I use but a lot whippier.. Puckhandling felt really awkward but yeah I pretty much just pushed the puck ahead of me and skated to it, quick moves were impossible. My backhand was WAAAY better than my wrist or snap shot, I could roof the backhand with relative ease... wrist shot looked like a pretty good beginner's shot.If you find yourself with some free icetime try it, it's kind of fun.
