I wonder if the holders will have breakage issues due to the dye. But all in all a pretty nice skate! I like the fact that the main boot appears to have a flat black color.

Rep brought in a sample last week for holiday booking. I think it looks pretty nice. For those looking for a traditional black skate, you won't find a current skate with more of an "old school" look than this. Besides the all black look, it comes with a tan clarino liner (adding to the vintage look) and black LS2 holder. I'm told the black holders will be available for purchase separately.

Reminds of when I was a kid and Bauer brought back the black holders, everyone wanted them. Before then the only place you ever saw black holders on skates was in hockey history books :lol: Maybe they should, I'm certain the types of discussion they would cause on PHEW would be entertaining to say the least. Which reminds me, where the black holders only on the supreme line or was it black holders on all skates back in the mid 90s?

CCM, Daoust, and Micron also had black holders on some models at some point in time.

I wonder if the kid who took that pic will be in dog-dew. Same like the x60s, limited sizing and availability, if you want them, your going to have to get them asap.

I used to browse PHEW when you could go see the picture without been a member but its been a while since i saw anything there.But anyway i like the black holder on them.

Agreed LS tuk holders look much nicer in white than black.

Whereas I like the older and thicker tuk plus/+/custom in black

This all black skate look is out of fashion now.. just by looking at jagr it's understandable.

Now a black boot with white holder is the way to go.. much "cleaner" look, it delivers B)

Conclusion just leave for the public skating yahoos
