Better yet, is Marchand wearing the new x60 flesh colored gloves on his left hand?

Brings new meaning to the term "anatomical fit"

Looks like Sedin might be going with a 90/75 FBV on his Total Ones. Ha!Ha!Ha!

Thickness of Sedin's steel leads me to believe he is using Step steel...prob XL cause they look long too.

You might be right but note the following, that his rocker is probably closer to an 11, therefore it looks as if he has more steel on the toe and heel. Also, these guys get new steel almost every month, so I wouldn't doubt that they just have the same steel, with less cut on them.

Well, me and JR had talked about it earlier somewhere in this thread, but I talked to a guy that helps out with the sharks equipment and heard that Marleau's blades are composite. He said that Marleau may have been playing with wood blades through playoffs last season, but this whole season he has been using a "black carbon warrior blade".

He is skating on LS3 steel. The only Canuck using Step right now is Lapierre.

http://www.icethetics.info/ has reported that all 30 teams in a sense will have new jersey's next season because the RBK will be replaced to Reebok like all their other NHL branding.

Thanks. I was curious about that because I am starting to see the "Reebok" on a lot of Canucks (Premier) jerseys in the stores.

I thought the trophy looked much darker. At first before they lifted it, it looked nearly black. The darker stain makes it look much classier.

Vancouver riot patrol wearing Mission hockey gloves. Absolutely horrifying scene downtown...complete chaos. Hoping for the safety of the innocent people trapped in the city.

I went to Hockeytown Authentic (Red Wings and Tigers clothing) in Troy, MI yesterday and looked at the pro stock skates from the Red Wings by several of the players. I noticed that all of the skates with a 280 holder or smaller are profiled 9-10 (9 foot in the front and 10 foot in the back, using the maximum edge system obviously) and the skates that are size 288 holder and up were 9.5-10.5 (one or two were a 9-10 though). Paul Boyer the Wings equipment manager recommends a 9-10 with a flat profile (no forward pitch) to start with, and thinks the 9.5-10.5 is "flat." I have skated on both profiles and I will have to agree with Paul. The rumor of Kris Drapers skates having a special profile was confirmed to me yesterday, his skates said "DRAPER 1.22" whatever that means, he's a heck of a skater.

He also said any flat bottom V sharpening was just a bunch of BS. I also tried it, I agree, its junk too.

Pretty interesting branding proposal for the Jets new uniforms. I'd be thrilled if some form of this look made it to Winnipegs final uniforms.

That's a HELL of a well put together proposal for everything involving a new Jets brand. I'm extremely impressed.

I was there almost 2 weeks ago for the sale, picked up an RS (Hudler), I was going to buy skates, but it they were WAY overpriced, and too small for my feet by a size or so.

I think that proposal is pretty good. Though I would say they have a little too much of a Caps feel for me. It could be a little more unique IMO. Plus they need more interesting gloves.

I wonder how many other proposals there are.
