danno25nh 3 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 Wife bought me the Easton S19 for Christmas. It ripped in 2 weeks. I replaced it with a CCM backpack and have really come to like it. It fits in my trunk nicely and because it stands up it takes less locker room space.
sharks25 9 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 Check out warrior's bags. I have the eraser and it is extremely durable. It's not that big, but can hold alot. Internal skate pockets and an outer large pocket gives some nice room for jerseys and clothes. It's been renamed the Vandal.
michael.yue 2 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I have the Warrior Pro bag. I love it, but it is pretty pricey. I've heard good things about the EQ pro bag and it's reasonably priced.
lib310 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I have the easton EQ4 bag, seems like the EQ40 is the exact same thing. I've had if for 8 months or so and it's holding up pretty well, lots of room even with all L or XL equipment in it
MattKingDelToro 2 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 Depends how much bag you want. EQ Pro bag isn't huge, but it's pretty solid.
wrangler 157 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I'm happy with my Easton Stealth S19. Lots of room, a few pockets/compartments to separate some stuff, and the wheels are handy.I'm pretty sure we've got some threads here with extended discussions on bags. Zombies #77 10 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I wish I knew what I wanted before I bought my first bag (found out after the fact). Skate pockets, pocket for jerseys, and another pocket for accessories.
mwerth 5 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 Big fan of my Bauer team canvas bag. Internal skate pockets are nice, and I find that the zippers and seams of outer pockets deteriorate too quickly.Link to Bauer bag HEREI throw mesh bags inside my hockey bag for organization -- 1 for tape, screwdriver, and the like; 1 for jerseys/underwear.Link to mesh bags HERE, though I'm sure there are others available.I also have a laundry loop for my dirty gear that's a holdover from college.Link to laundry loop HERE

shoeshine boy 249 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 for less that $40 this is an AWESOME bag: http://www.totalhockey.net/Product.aspx?itm_id=4174&div_id=41pockets on each end, skate pockets on the side and the top panel is mesh at least it was on the Itech version (pre-bauer buyout) that I have. the iceman 132 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 If you don't have a lot of stuff to put in your hockey bag (other than the usual necessities for a hockey player), the Easton EQ Pro bag is my choice. It isn't as big as the other bags. It's a pro style bag so there are pockets on each side for the skates and mesh paneling on the sides.http://eastonhockey.com/eq-pro-2.html
Stoop 1 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 for less that $40 this is an AWESOME bag: http://www.totalhockey.net/Product.aspx?itm_id=4174&div_id=41pockets on each end, skate pockets on the side and the top panel is mesh at least it was on the Itech version (pre-bauer buyout) that I have.I just got that one recently, and it does still have mesh. Super bag as far the size and layout -- I think it's great. It doesn't feel very sturdy, but that's probably why it's less than $40.As for features, I really wanted a bag with a shoulder strap (which it has), but I actually took it off. It's kind of pain to carry a big heavy hockey bag with a long shoulder strap, for me anyway. I still throw in on my shoulder sometimes, but just use the handles so it's nice and high on the torso. IPv6Freely 2100 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I need something that's actually pretty small. My trunk is tiny, and at this point I have to literally stuff my hockey bag into it. I was thinking of one of those CCM backpacks. I might have to Tetris my gear in (that's a proper verb, right?) but that's fine.
x-track 8 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I know two people that have them and they didn't seem to wear very well.to me ...they hold up really well ..whenever I take public transport to the rink I use them .........used my S19 wheelbag one time ...and the rear part with the wheels collapsed ....the plastic part that holds the wheels in correct position folded outwards and the bottom of the bag swept the ground , resulting in a big hole at the rear end
