My guess is a reinforced area since that's generally where the butt end/knob of the stick is positioned on the palm. The others are, as mentioned above, probably a tacky surface of some sort.

That's exactly what I was going to guess. I love the One90s; ugly, but comfy as heck. Mine are still going strong as are the palms.

Seriously, why is it that the Supreme gloves always look so bad? As far as I remember they've always looked like crap compared to the Vapors and 4 Rolls

The red areas are a stretchy material, improves movement and makes it extremely comfy. The palm has a very soft nash. Very similar to a palm from the x60's. like i said pictures suck cause of flash, wish i took another one without it.
