It looks like the rumour that Alex Ovechkin has an endorsement deal with Bauer will be announced soon enough, Bauer has posted a teaser on Facebook.

I agree. I'm sure he'd use the 9900 helmet, though. Same thing as 5100, better padding, higher end, etc. I also agree with the Supreme TotalOne stick. However, I think he'll use the X60 gloves because Bauer seems to be pushing those harder on consumers than the STO gloves. But I'd love to see him in a 4500, 4 Rolls, and Vapor XXX skates. Old school :D

All that makes sense, but Ovie won't be pressured into using anything he doesn't want to use. I think he'll use a VN helmet for sure, and I wouldn't be shocked if he dug out some old Vapors like you said. Definitely curious to see if this relationship ends up working.

If he didn't like the CCM product, he should've done what everyone else did...and that was to walk away and break his deal, so I don't think your first point is valid. All this is, is a cash grab and a marketing ploy.

they may tell you he's in T1 protective. But he'll be like the 99% of the guys in the league , and still be wearing the same ol rbk/jofa shins n elbows , that hes had since he was 16 or 17 yrs old. those guys just dont change their protective gear unless its unrepairable
