Some of the players look to have gotten them customized, also.

I wonder what that's all about. You would think if it had something to do with Bauer's influence they would have them in Vapor XXX's

They (like a lot of Big Ten schools) have a contract with nike for all there sports. So most use BNH skates. Alot of OSU players use XXX.

When I went to the BC agaoinst Providence game on friday night only 3 players had Vapor XXX skates and they all played for BC, another thing I noticed was a lot of providence players using Sherwood Momentum 1 pieces.

That's why I said if it had something to do with Bauer, why don't they have them in XXX's instead?

My guess is they simply didn't like the XXXs and chose the 8090's instead.

I talked to my buddy that plays there now, Chad Kolarik. He said he just thought the 8090s were the most comfortable skates they had. He wore s500s last year. He had Bauer put the old tan colored Clarino in the skate.
