eBay idiot, or not?

Recommended Posts

Greetings. I'm new here and have a question (sorry if I've missed the thread :)):

are these Jofa 9177 elbow pads really PRO. Maybe something wrong with'em? What is the approximate price for them in US or Canada (I'm from Russia btw)? I want to get'em and hope to receive your kind advice.

Lol. I just didn't like the length interfering with my gloves. I have a new pair of 9044's coming. So I'll have the trusty 8025 and 9025 or the new 9044's. I wanted a bit more protection and these should fit the bill.

My 8025s are still holding up, never could find a good deal on another pair in my size. I ended up cutting the bicep pad of some old DRs that have two straps and an elastic band on the forearm.

These elbows ARE pro and made in Sweden. Probably will go up to $150 or more. Especially in size 5

i know alot of people that are playing with lacrosse elbow pads and recommend them to everyone they talk to

i havent tried any yet but im starting to wonder if they are on to something

http://www.lacrossemonkey.com/armpads.html

obviously if you play serious competitive hockey they arent enough protection - but for anything else i would imagine they are decent - they definitely allow for more arm movement

Camo Mias. Interesting. Admittedly they're hideous, but I'm still watching them and if they stay low I'm probably scooping them up.

I would imagine posting them to all of us isn't going to help them stay too low. Also, how is this guy an Ebay idiot?

He's not an idiot, he would be "or not" but it is a surprising find on ebay. Plus I don't really want the gloves, I was just saying If I could get them for $25 I would jump on them and probably give them to my little brother or something.

They realize that those two signatures don't look anything alike, right? I mean, maybe she just signs books and pucks differently, because everyone does that.

Yeah they're different, but you can pretty much tell they're by the same person. Most celebrities have different autographs for different events. It seems to me Palin had long lines for the book and had a quick signature. The puck must have been signed when she had more time.

Maybe. I by no means am a handwriting expert. I have the hand writing of a 3 year old, but I would think that the S and the P would at least look the same.

I do tend to get sloppier signing many times in a row, so you may have hit the nail on the head, as I assume she signs a bunch of books over and over.

I learned that from a little segment on Jerome Bettis a while back. For small events, he signs Jerome "The Bus" Bettis. For medium events it's "Jerome Bettis 36" and for games and big events it's "J. Bettis." I've also hear most agents tell their client to learn a signature for autographs that varies quite a bit from the signature for things they use on contracts and for things like checkbooks, to prevent identity theft and fraud.

X:60?

Something doesn't look right to me. I've only seen a couple X:60's but the paint was different and no silver handle etc.

Grip version is the white/black fade graphics that the pro's use, the all black is a regular retail non grip stick.
