althoma1 574 Report post Posted July 10, 2014 Interesting that Mission switched from Rink Rat to Revision for their two top end skates. Even more interesting is that on page 34 of the catalogue Revision wheels are listed including those not available on the skates (like the Steel wheels). Did Bauer purchase Revision? It's also nice to see that the 37.5 technology is being used on the top end DS1 gloves - based on the feedback I've read here from those who have used it the technology works well and it will be very useful for hot, humid days in roller rinks. althoma1 574 Report post Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) I just found it strange that in past catalogues, like the 2012 and 2013 ones, Rink Rats were used in the top end skates, but on the wheels pages only the Mission produced Hi-Lo wheels were offered and not Rink Rats. I guess Mission must've made a deal with Revision to not only use their wheels for their top end skates, but allow dealers to order wheels through Mission as well. the_game 452 Report post Posted July 10, 2014 Not really all that impressed here, what is so innovative about tabs that change a little bit of color on your skates & gloves? If anything Mission should bring back their concept from the '714' glove where you can replace the cuff roll, that had customization potential written all over it and they scrapped that glove after 1 year. And why doesn't Mission use the Kryptonium chassis on the DS1 skates? sjs0433 15 Report post Posted July 16, 2014 I like that they went back to black skates. Funny thing is I still don't like anything Mission has put out in the last few years compared to the look of the really old stuff. I remember wanting sins proto vsi team skates bad and also the wicked lights. I'd love to see those come back with current technology.

MikeWhy 39 Report post Posted September 13, 2014 I feel like things like the indie foam pads and venting would make it feel a bit different, but if I'm correct they have the same sort of general fit, i doubt it's exact.I feel like things like the indie foam pads and venting would make it feel a bit different, but if I'm correct they have the same sort of general fit, i doubt it's exact.and use stable 26 socks or w.e they're called, everyone raveeesss about them. Cove 38 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 SupremesInline warehouse describes it more similar too a Nexus then a Supreme. I've been curious about Mission too and have supreme foot.
MikeWhy 39 Report post Posted October 8, 2014 Inline warehouse describes it more similar too a Nexus then a Supreme. I've been curious about Mission too and have supreme foot. The amount of people who use Missions makes me skeptical to believe its a nexus fit... maybe not so anatomical but it can't be as voluminous as nexus skates
