Opinions on best $100 stick?

Recommended Posts

If you want a mid-kick stick, you should be able to find a Mission Stir-D1 on clearance for under $100. My understanding is that it's a repainted Bauer Supreme One.8. Very well balanced IMO

I've been really happy with all of the lower-end CCM models I've used. Both the RBZ and Tacks (and the re-branded Titan, which IIRC is actually an RBZ80).

Was in total hockey the other day and noticed you can get the V9E or V9 for 100. checked their website and a DT1LT or ST can be had for 80 bones. lots of Eastons and Warriors on nice price cuts worth checking out.

Add RBZ100 and Easton V7 to that list -- both 80 at TH.

Great deals but kinda bummed -- just grabbed a DT1ST off ebay for 50 last week and thought it was a killer deal.

Whigh titan is the rbz 80? I grew up playing with titan sticks and now use the rbz 80/130 so being able to play with a titan that is the same as my current favorite stick would be awesome.

Total Hockey's product page says the Titan is a low kick, so either their info is incorrect or it's not truly a repaint of an RBZ80.

Hmm, could be. Really not sure.

Does the 6K come in CCM curves? I use the P45 in CCM and Titan, so thats why I assumed it had to be a current CCM model repainted. Unlikely to be Tacks, so I figured RBZ80.

The 6k is several years old now :) same company so in sure they could toss whatever curves on it they would like. Not saying it's a 6k, just saying that in the few moments I had it in my non gloved hands it felt like one of those. It could very well just be a new lower end stick entirely, or kind of like the new low end reebok sticks being released

Yea definitely. I look forward to (hopefully) seeing the previously Reebok model sticks being made in CCM curves. I'd love a Ribcor in P45...

I know someone on here recommended the Sherwood t100 or t90 I haven't used either but right now on hockey monkey if you buy a t100 you get the t90 for free. So 2 sticks for one price might be something to look at.

I think the Warrior QR4 is good budget stick, my friend has been using that for past 6 months and it is holding up very well.

I've been using DT4s and QR4s for the last couple years and I've been very happy with them. I seem to break them all the same way, by the heel cracking, but it takes months for that to happen and until I found the Warriors I'd been going through sticks pretty quickly.

You won't do better than the Warrior DT1LT/ST for $80 at Total Hockey right now. The Synergy 7.0 (SMU) they have is also intriguing.

if it were a lower kick stick, I would have also said look at the SMU synergy 7.0. I picked one up at 80 and now they have them for just 50 bucks, a literal steal. So far performance has been pretty good, even when im more used to lower kick on sticks. I use it for roller, and its got phenomenal weight for that price point, so if you don't mind going a bit blade heavy, and a mid kick, its a great way to go.
