For me personally that style was never what I was into but if generic MSH gloves were to ever be made I would vote for that style too because it’s so timeless. And I’d gladly buy a pair too.

Hi! About a year ago I've seen some pics of mr. Putin playing hockey with a weird jaw protector under his half shield. Seems like it is less cumbersome than traditional Bauer combo (half shield + mask) and a more breathable than a full face shield like Concept III.The mounting points location is pretty interesting, too. There was absolutely no info on the internet that I could find about this piece of equipment. The chin cup+strap is definetely from Bauer, but seems like it was added to the jaw protector later, cause there are no such pieces in any Bauer catalog. Several weeks ago I have seen a guy in my beer league rocking the same exact piece. I asked him where did he get it, he told that his friend brought him one from his trip to Canada. He stated that this protector + half shield is much more comfortable and lighter than a combo or a full cage. Maybe some of you could provide me some info about it? Manufacturer, product name, price, sizing, etc. Thanks!

And the trigger is still snappy? There’s only a couple of parts in there; there is a small set screw though. Wonder if that’s it.

The shells come in different cuts... the pant style ones like Nexus are a more boxy roomy fit to work well over pants, a girdle shell is generally a bit more fitted and sometimes has additional padding in the kidney area or a very thin piece of soft foam padding behind the thigh depending on the model (not sure exactly what this one does, it's far too thin to be protective and most girdles already have some protection there). Some of the fancier new girdle shells have velcro to attach to loops on some girdles, they're not necessary but some people like them (I come from the time before these and tried them once and haven't bothered since, the velcro closure on the front of the shell and the belt hold things up just fine and this way I can slide the shell on/off 1-2-3). As for the CCM Tacks shell... it has the velcro loops and also has some padding in the kidney area but it is all soft padding, the older 9K style shells went higher up and had plastic inserts in the kidney area.

side note, wish mission was still around as their own entity. They were on to some good stuff.

My sister did a clinic with him too. She asked if he had some trick or elastic helping keep them off and he flicked his foot and kicked his skate off. I've skated untied and completely loose and it really doesn't feel bad or difficult but I would never try and compete like that.

Can we do an MSH order of just black with white Bauer lettering? What’s the minimum? I’ve been trying to find a ventless Nexus glove for years but 13 inch pro stocks are non existent.
