Two and a half weeks ago I developed double vision that a neuro opthamalogost said was a 3rd nerve palsy. They say it is related to diabetes and high BP and that it would take about 3 months to go away. On Sunday morning I woke up and the double vision was gone!!! I am still not 100% as it seems like I get some headaches as my brain is working harder to focus and looking quickly throws things off a bit and I get disoriented but I have to think the worst is behind me and I am on the way to a super fast recovery!!! Hope so!!

I had to dremel the outsole bump on my converted CCM Tacks skates and haven't had a single issue yet. I agree with Althoma1 that you probably won't need to but even if you do, you'll be golden.

You shouldn't need to dremel the outsole for a HI-LO chassis. It's the Labeda Hummer all 80mm chassis that often requires some dremelling.

I am attempting to work with a customer interested in getting his pro stock Ovechkin released as a BASE retail LH and RH. As with other patterns that we have released, I am gauging the support to see if there is enough interest to move forward. I have been told by the customer that this is NOT the crazy Ovechkin and that this pattern is more playable. I will attach pictures of the sample he would provide. If interested please chime in and also spread the word so we could make this happen and available to everyone.

Two years ago today I received my second liver transplant. Very thankful my donor and his/hers family for making the difficult decision to donate. Going in for my third hernia surgery and hopefully my last for a long time. Bottom is from November 2014 top is from today.

It's been awhile since I posted a video so I'll give you guys an update. Game last night ended up in a 4-3 loss. We all had a pretty shakey first period but took the game over after that. First shot I didn't see until it was right on top of me. As I was looking for the puck I came off my angle a bit and left a good amount of room on the short side. Second goal was 100% my fault, didn't take care of the rebound. Third goal I should have covered the play much better then I did. I wish I could have had that one back. The fourth was a shot that was going to be going wide until it glanced off of a skate. I should have cut that off better but I wasn't expecting the shooter to throw it back toward the blocker side and with the way the guy to the right of me was positioned I wasn't expecting him to be able to get a shot off, so I didn't worry about him (lesson learned). It wasn't a bad game but I have definitely noticed that my first periods are pretty shakey. Until I fully get warmed up and moving more I generally allow in one softy. The good news is that I've found my playing style. I'm big on challenging the shooter far out from the net. My awareness and patience on the ice seems to be getting better so most breakaways I'm able to stuff. Any recommendations or observations are much appreciated! My pad wrap is starting to really get busted up though so a slight color change may be coming up in the future. I'll post some pictures when I do change that though.
