I’m finally going home soon. Although early results of the biopsy is a recurrence of my PSC. Not exactly the news I wanted.

Piggy backing on this one.... I was playing in a league where it was nothing but irritating. Me and a couple of buds started our own "league". It has been the best thing I have ever done for my hockey "career". We handpicked our group, so everyone is fun to skate with and there is literally zero garbage happening. We have good music blaring the entire game. I look forward to this skate every week way more than I do my normal league skate.

I find the responses to smu odd. Self inflicted wounds? How so? Yes his posts could be very repetitive and they became boring, and uninformative, but he seems to have had an appalling time.

Howdy, Sorry to read that. It certainly seems like you might have suffered from some self inflicted wounds in your saga, but its unfortunate that True wasn't able to work with you to come up with a solution anyway. Good luck with the CCM/other options. Mark

And that's the proper way. But the vast majority of shops just want to sharpen your skates with the least amount of effort. 1/2" is easy because it's also easy to remember. Some people don't even know what it means and probably figure there's such a thing as a full.

I do the same with my customers. If they're not sure what hollow to get I'll use 5/8" as a starting point. The next time they come in for a sharpening I'll ask them for feedback and make the necessary adjustments, if needed.

One of my OG Mako/Sprung conversions split, but after one skate I really like my new M7 conversion. The M7 actually feels stiffer than the OG Mako ever did, it fits the same and the weight difference is marginal (not noticeable while skating). The only real difference I notice is the thick white felt tongue vs. the thinner heat responsive tongue with the plastic metatarsal guard on the OG Mako. The M7 tongue doesn't naturally wrap as well and I had to fiddle with the lacing a couple times, but I'm sure it will break in with use.

Got through the procedure. They forgot to do a biopsy yesterday so now they have to do it today 🙄 May have to stay one more night.
