I utterly despise guys who go the high route with dumps, especially in beer league.

My fear is companies are so focused on concussion prevention overall protection slips.

Yeah. Kinda a freak accident. Don't think a cage or a more sturdy helmet would have helped at all. (unless is was like those new MLB helmets that no one wears) IMHO, these things happen, but the chances of it are still pretty rare. It's like when Pronger's heart skipped a beat when he got hit in the chest with the puck, or when Malarchuk got his throat cut. Possible, but considering how much hockey is played, very very rare occurrences. Concussions are still the bigger problem with helmet protection...by a large margin.

This shouldn't surprise anyone.

The knee cap has cracked on one of the 7k shins, and my 6K shins are actually Jofa branded, with ”made in Malung, Sweden” on them.. First gen RBK pads sold in Sweden were still made here.

As many of you know I had some significant heart issues this year. Three procedures leading to 5 stents. It took a bit but I’ve been really doing well now and am back on the ice and feeling great. Now today got more good news. Sonogram showed the blockages of my carotid artery dropped from 20% to 10%. Can apply that same 50% drop to the arteries feeding my heart. So happy the dietary changes and meds have worked. I feel like I’ve got my life back!!

Bauer is now including the Kucherov Pro in their Custom Pro options. I looked at it last night. It’s close to a P28, with a slightly more closed toe.
