I actually don’t think Vapor D and Fit 1 are the same. The Fit 1 felt closer to a pro stock C to me. The forefoot absolutely murdered my foot and the heel is definitely tighter. Never had those issues with a D vapor from the APX through the 1X 2.0.
D width in a Vapor is essentially the same as Fit 1. They introduced the Fit system a year after the release of the 2X, so the earlier production runs still used the D/EE sizing.
Last night I placed my order for the FT3, P90TM, 65 flex.
Thanks again guys. I won't have a chance to use it until my next game, which is this Saturday night. I'll report back here with how it went!
You gotta try out curves, theoretical postings aren't going to help. I went from 88 to 28 then had second thoughts. It wasn't until I was able to just shoot a ton of pucks and got used to it and made some adjustments that I got good with it (relatively, I am the definition of mediocre 😄 ).
Like anything else I will reserve judgement until I get to feel it on the ice. The conjecture is kinda silly IMHO. Blackstone has a reputation as an industry leader and they are clearly aware that things are moving in the direction of being automated. I think this all bodes well for the product. I am intrigued.
