I’ve replaced rivets with MLX screws in thin boots (Mako, MLX, True VH) for years. Primarily for college or AAA guys who were fed up with losing rivets weekly. if you run out of options send me a PM https://www.instagram.com/p/BgjyDyNh7tK/?utm_medium=copy_link

No problem. I've done a few conversions using this video as a guide. I've started to cover the outsole of the skate with blue painters tape after the ice holder is off which makes it easier to mark up the center line, hole placement, etc. make it easy to see what you are doing and gives a much cleaner look after. I also suggest using pen or pencil to mark up as I've found a thicker marker to lack accuracy/precision. Thinner the line/marking the better.

No need to use the Graf specific bolts for an inline conversion. You can get stuff from a hardware store. Not sure I would do it for an ice set up, but maybe you could.

Update. I ordered a pair of Currex hockeypro insoles in low and got a chance to skate with them today. They were immediately better then anything I've tried and after about a 10 minute break in period I was able to skate with no foot pain or fatigue. Really happy that I can go skate and enjoy myself now! To anyone who has wide flat feet and struggling I recommend giving them a try.

Bc those screws are way more secure than rivets. That's why you only need 8.

Edmonton EQ better stock up on blue locktite and screws for those speedblade holders. Those screws get loose if you look at them wrong; I imagine McDavid puts more torque on the holder and steel than I did.

I did it. I had a pie of old beat up Easton gloves I disliked so I cut the backhand pad out, sewed Velcro on the back of the pad and stuck it in. Did the thumb padding too as it was cut off. Works perfect youd never know the difference plus it doesn’t move. thanks everyone for your suggestions I also fixed the palm hole.
