I am the source. I worked with Sparx on that. You're welcome.

Saw one of the hockey IG pages refer to it as the AGE(s only 9-14 are the ones we're targeting)NT and I'll be damned if that doesn't sound right.

But they used a number instead of a letter in the name of the stick.

That's because out to in and in to out are the same lacing pattern, just in reverse order. They apply pressure the same way, half the lace is going over the facing, half is going under.

They’re nice if you like expensive repaints.

So, it’s light, I’ll give it that. But I don’t see any major weight or construction differences compared to a HyperLight. At first inspection it appeared the elliptical taper started higher up the shaft but only slightly. Also the lower third to half of the shaft has no grip. Not sure it’s enough to justify the price hike, but I haven’t tried it yet. graphically Bauer knocked it out of the park, the stick looks great. Interested to see how it looks on TV, I’m sure that’ll be the real determining factor.

Thanks for the advice. I decided to go with FT5 pro. Look forward to testing it

Honestly, i'd even skip the FT5 Pro and just go for the FT5. I haven't shot the Pro, but the FT5 is a monster stick for the price point and shoots and feels better than my FT4 Pro did. I don't know that the 50+% increase in price would be warranted.
