I've noticed that good knee/ankle bend makes pitch less important. I realized that when I started skipping the top 2 eyelets.

Only had one skate on them. No equipment or stick, just a community skate. I want to put on the equipment and giver before a review but right now the 0.5 is kinda blowing me away. How is it possible to be more agile and more stable at the same time... I could go on but I want to really test it more first.

He's offering to take a photo of 4 sticks. A P90t, a P90TM, a P28 and a P29. I would say that it WILL show any differences between a 90T and a 90TM quite clearly and throw in a couple other well known patterns for reference as well. I'm curious to see that the 90TM will look like when the FT3s drop later this year, so I for one would really appreciate it @SkateWorksPNW

Correct, CSW's boot punch will work on toecaps, but it requires quite a bit of heat and careful manipulation to get it to work. Another thing to do is to try to get a little bit more room out of that skate by heating up the heel. The premise behind it is that you can get your foot to sit back further in the boot, therefore getting it off that spot on the toecap. Seems that the skate may be a tad small. That is a bit of a weird spot to be feeling that though. Looking at it, I'm not so sure the CSW punch can hit that - might be in that area where it narrows.

I disagree. A 500g stick is far from heavy, it's just heavier than a 400g stick. Balance is just as important as weight. Grab a 20lb sledgehammer and simulate stick handling, then turn it around and try again. Tell me balance point doesn't matter. It's an extreme example, but illustrates my point quite well. An extremely light stick might work best for you, but for others like myself, there is a point where a stick becomes too light. Personally, I have found that the True A5.2 and Nexus 1000 have felt much lighter than the actually are because of how well balanced they are. On the flip side, my QX3 feels as heavy to me as a Supreme One.7, which is almost 100g heavier. The QX3 is not heavy, but it feels heavy when I use it because the balance point is too low for my liking.

In the studies mentioned above not that it was noted in the study, there was a discussion that any profile change greater than 2...IE 7-13 or in Quad anything over 8-10-12-14 a .5 would be hard to feel as the gap would leave a flat spot. All profiles closer than 2 or less thee would be less likely a feeling of separation from one profile to the rest. It was also concluded that the 2 best being the 9.10 and the 9.5 10.5 would be similar to what is now the Quad .5. Hence, it would make perfect sense as to why a lot of people like it as it feels similar and actually is closest to the best performing in the study. Kind of a jacked combo between the 2 from the study. I wonder who it was that came up with that .5 idea? Maybe Mr. ProSharp could tell us??
