Guys, can we move back on-topic about True TF7/TF9 skates? There are already a million topics about skate sizing on here.

Well I guess if they do that, then having an accurate size doesn't matter for those people in the first place, so whatever. Yep. I've been wearing shoes too big for most of my adult life. It wasn't until I started wearing good dress shoes that I realized it. Explains why I started in size 9 skates.

If only we could just start using mm for shoe AND skate sizing, life would be so much easier.

Well, this is actually significantly better than that awful splint I had. I actually changed it for a proper medical grade splint that Velcros on. I was kind of worried the orthopedic doctor would give me shit, but she actually told me I made the right call because splints done by urgent care are usually terribly fitting and not all that good at actually keeping things immobilized. Anyway, thumb was broken. I’ll be in the cast for three weeks and then likely back to my splint for a bit. PT shouldn’t take long because I actually nearly full range of motion with no pain now as it is. The PT will be more recovering from stiffness in the wrist than anything.

Agreed, I think it would have been Tampa/Colorado if they weren't so damn injured. Maybe Vegas could have beat Colorado but either way I think Dallas should have probably been out in the second round if it weren't for the injuries.

Yea this whole game I was thinking it felt like the kings in 2014 where it was pretty clear the rangers weren’t even in the same ballpark and you just knew it was a matter of time. Congrats to the lightning, well earned!

This is the point, up 2-0 at the end of the 2nd period, that if I were the Lightning I would just casually mention to the officials that the Stars goalie is using an illegal stick.

Just a fluke spot it hit just wrong. My glove was at a really awkward angle too. It’s also an inherent “weakness” in the way my glove was designed which is NORMALLY the biggest thing I like about it. Not going to fault the glove... If you had a line drive in baseball hit you right on the thumb, you’re not going to blame the glove padding for that either. Oh yeah I knew I was in trouble immediately. That’s why I stayed down as long as I did after. 10 mins into a 90 min skate... brutal! Had a couple shots I would have saved any other time. It definitely did get worse as the skate went on as well. Went straight to urgent care after.

I thought he would. They’ve been playing 11 forwards and 7 defensemen. Even if he plays PP only he’s still more useful than the #7 guy. Im sure he’ll be in his full gear for the cup ceremony though.

Agreed. At least they're trying and the CCM product actually makes some level of sense.

A player must have at least 41 games played with the club or one game played in the Stanley Cup Finals. However, in 1994 a stipulation was added to allow a team to petition the Commissioner for permission to have players' names put on the Cup if extenuating circumstances prevented them from being available to play. Stamkos meets the first criteria, but even if he didn't there's no question they'd be requesting permission for the exemption.
