Shoot me a pic or link of what you are looking for. I bought the thicker tounges for my 100k Pros, but ended up just using the stock ones. My skate is a 9.5 ( so i am not sure what size that is vs what you need ), but if i have what you need, i'll sell them to you. They are brand new and never skated it. Only put them on the skates to see if I wanted the stock ones or the thicker ones.

Understand that while i did purchase multiple pairs, 4 of each ( 8 total ), 6 pairs were sent back brand new after i tried them on at home and realized they did not fit properly. I only kept the best fitting one of the 100k pro and the ASV. Skated in each one maybe 3-4 times before settling on the 100k pro. So CCM is only out the one used pair. I'd like to think i utilized their 90 day guarantee to the minimal amount possible. CCM now has a new customer who would likely have never considered their skates if they didnt offer a fitment guarentee, and they very likely have a customer who is going to purchase them again in the future, assuming the skates hold up well. So far, I absolutely love the 100k Pro's and cant find a single thing to complain about. As for them ending the guarantee program, maybe it should have had some stated stipulations in order to avoid abuse......unless the program netted them exactly what they wanted ( more customers to their skate line ). As someone who used to work for a retail company that took back any product we sold, for virtually any reason, for literally any time frame.......some sort of stipulations to avoid abuse would make sense from my perspective ( and likely your perspective too ). The company i used to work for is now out of business, so......

As somebody who used to work in retail with a large company that had a basically hassle free return policy for virtually anything we sold with no stated timeframe in which to ask for a return or refund, I'd like all manufacturers to have a 30 day window for fitment assurance. Beyond that, I think people would take too much advantage of it, especially at 90 days. Note: that company i used to work for is now out of business......so......

Bought multiple pairs of 100K pros and ASV Pro's 6 months ago. Picked one of each that fit best, sent the rest back. After a couple skates in each, picked the 100k Pro and sent back the used ASV Pro. Bought some from CCM directly and some from Hockey Monkey and Icewarehouse. Nobody gave me an issue on any of them. Just hang on to receipts for purchase verification. As I read it, you have 90 days to send them back regardless of reason. There was a thread on here a few months ago regarding if something breaks on the skate within the warranty window ( different from the satisfaction guarantee window ) , they will treat it as a warranty and replace the skate and not let yoU straight up return it. Maybe once you get the warrantied skate, then you can do a return, but i'm just guessing.

Saw a couple posts on Reddit that the FT6 skates were coming out this month. Anybody able to confirm? somebody posted this morning that they had their hands on a pair, but the post was deleted quickly for some reason.

yup, selling price depends on how bad somebody wants them. Make an off if its too high. Worst they can say is no. Just don't low ball them
-
They all have to post the same full original retail price as per their MAP pricing agreements with the manufacturer, Since the 1s was top model, $949.99 new for senior skates in 2017 is what i found. Intermediates were maybe $150 less or so new, so $750 or so. I'd say $300-400 for new old stock than if I were interested them from SLS or ebay
-
hmmmmmm, i just I did a quick google search and pure hookcey had them for $649.99, but that might have been clearance price. Other sites are showing closer to $949.99 new. Was there a 1s pro or was the 1s the top model skate? If 1s was the top model skate, than it would have been closer to $950 new.
-
So they were $650 new five years ago......... Id say $300-375 depending on how bad somebody wants them.

CCM FT4 Pro Skates - eyelets wrecked first use
noupf replied to colins's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
I'd be curious to know if it happened on both skates or just one. If just one, perhaps that one was left in the oven ( even if it was now off and cooling down, but still hot in there ) too long while he was lacing up the first skate and this is the result of an over baked skated and pulling way too hard on the laces when this second one came out of the oven last. For reference, I took some advice on here and baked my 100K Pro CCM's at home. Did it a couple times spread out over a few days at 180 or so in my oven for 4.5 minutes. Pulled on the laces in an outward direction ( not upward ) at maybe 50% my normal tightness and sat on the couch for 15 min to let them cool ( I did not walk in them at all ). I've now had my skates for over 3 months, skating twice a week as a decent men's league skater at 6'4 230 lbs and my eyelets look all but perfect. I know some guys can really put a beating on their skates depending on their skating style, size and other issues like you mentioned, but i don't think we've seen anybody come on here and have an issue like this with the new ccm skates and their one piece design. -
new or used.......if used, how used?

CCM FT4 Pro Skates - eyelets wrecked first use
noupf replied to colins's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
Take a look at eyelet 4 and 8 in the picture.......they too have shifted. I'm leaning toward boot too warm and over tightened or played in while to warm. Did eyelet #1 shift and snap? and #2 just shifted? -
CCM FT4 Pro Skates - eyelets wrecked first use
noupf replied to colins's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
There's still a solid round tubular core to a grommet or eyelet rivet. Basically you are sliding a round tube into a hole and then mashing the other end to hold it tight and in place......nowhere for the rivet to go unless the underlying material around the rivet is compromised in some way, no? My guess is that these were over tightened right after baking ( unless it was stated otherwise earlier in the thread ) and or a lot of force was applied to the eyelet's and composite material while still warm and or skated in hard while still warm. -
Have 100k Pro skates here and did a tongue swap for the thicker ones and they fit perfectly. Something is either up with the tongues you purchased or the toe cap. Since the tongues come loose in a box, i wonder if the tongues in the box you were sent were packaged wrong or put into the incorrect box ( by ccm or a customer )
-
I am not sure if they are still making them, but I also started a thread about these a few months ago. Somebody who seemed to know a lot about them chimed in and said they are now wrapped as Jetspeeds.......and I have seen them on SLS as jetspeesd team sticks. Take a another search and use jetseepd team or something like that as your search criteria.

Honing stone recommendation for coated blades
noupf replied to Mimizk's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
Those stones are ok to use on coated black steel runners? -
ooof......clicking would bother me and my ocd. Glad to hear they seem to work well though
-
what kind of holder / skate do you use and were you serious about the clicking?
-
I'm one of those guys who likes to skate with the top eyelet un-used as well as flopping my tongue. However, I feel like I would benefit with just a touch more of the very upper part of my skate being pulled in closer ( ie if i were to use the top eyelet ).....but even when I use the top eyelet and do it loose, I don't like the restricted feel of it. Would putting some tape around the top of the skate help pull in the upper sides and give me the ankle movement I like. Seems like it might......

I don't think you can compare as the newest fit system is all new with the Tacks line for 2022 and will be the same on the FT6 Jetspeeds that will be released later this year. For me, I recently purchased multiple pairs of each in various widths and sizes for both the 100k's and AS-V Pros. Settled on the 100K pro's in regular ( my foot is on the wide side of a standard D width, almost putting me into a wide depending on brand of shoes and skates ), however, had I chosen the AS-V Pros, i'd have been a tapered fit without a doubt. Crazy how the fits are all over the map.....
-
Only YOUR feet will be able to answer that. Baking skates will make a good fit better. It doesn't make a poor fit good.

AND NO CARBON LITE RUNNER? I thought the carbon lite runners were supposed to be the bee knees ??? ( i kid, I kid )
-
yes, i'm onto my last ST 2.0 team stick and its amazing how long they hold up. I don't necessarily need a 385~ gram stick, i think i weighed one of the team stick ST2.0's and it came in around 425 at the full 69.5" length ( and I chop off about 1.5 inches from that ) so for me, they a lite enough. I'd love to find some more of the super tacks or ST 2.0 teams skticks in my build, but its near impossible now, which is why im looking for some new sticks. thanks for the input.
-
Thanks for the input. I saw the build stickers for these ( 2HSMHK3SP ) and cross referenced it with some codes i found in the sports2k website thread about pro stock sticks. I'm fairly certain that they are in fact Jetspped FT3 Pro pro stock builds,( and definitely not team sticks ). I do recall the team pro stocks that i've been using being billed as slightly sturdier than other pro stocks ( and slighlty heavier ), so these jetspeeds would likely be lighter and a little less durable is what you are saying, correct?

I felt the same with my ccm's. However, CCM says 2 minutes at 220 degrees and that just felt odd to me, so I did 4 minutes at 180 or so and I felt like it gave me better moldability.
