  1. You look like Patty Kane with that mouth guard, how do you breath as you play? I have trouble breathing when I wear one properly lol
  2. Low maintenance girlfriend, but I only go there because it's convenient for her to book us both appointments. Normally I would go to a great clips or something.
  3. Sitting waiting for my haircut. There are three employees here and three customers here, one of which is my girlfriend, and one is me. Why am I waiting?
  4. Good call shotty, I'm guessing for the new jerseys?
  5. He is one of the hardest workers, and probably plays tougher then most. Unfortunately a lot of times the fine line between tough and dirty is easily crossed, and Richards isn't afraid to walk that line.
  6. No but he did clip his shoulder first. This is where, regardless of the player a simple head shot rule comes in effect. Whether it was intentional or accidental, he made direct contact with his head and should have got 5 and a game. Team should have to suffer because that is just a disrespectful hit. He could have led with this body and not his shoulder and just run Savard down. Instead some guys look like they're out there just to kill their opponents, and it's sickening.
  7. Glad to hear things are turning around. My sweet spot addition is a I stumbled across a drop in group that's been running for 8 years every saturday night. $15 bucks, 1:45 of ice, always two goalies and roughly 20-25 guys. In the summer they do Thursday and Saturdays. Couldn't be happier to know that there is ice every week if I want it.
  8. Are those all retail or some prostock in there?
  9. I wouldn't play without a tendon guard. Take them to a cobbler or seamstress and see if they can stitch it back on, even just as a temporary solution.
  10. Looks like you bought the gloves to match the shoulder pads lol.
  11. Wait, so the LS Fusion isn't as long as the LS2.1 Power Steel? Well that's an interesting move but it makes sense - why would someone buy the LS2.1 if the Fusion is that much lighter? That said though, Easton still makes an ST and S19, both high end sticks but at different price points. Ahh shoot I just contradicted my own point. Although it'd be nice to see a LSFusion in the 2.1 length.
  12. 1. Southern California 2. It normally costs a dollar or two more from what I've experienced. Highest I've seen is $10 3. It hasn't show to be less durable in my experience. I have rolled edges before which is pretty catastrophic but it's only happened once or twice in the past year for me (and I'm on the ice probably 15-20 hours a week and I sharpen probably once ever week and a half to two weeks with 100/75). 3. The runner hasn't seem to be worn down any more normal than a traditional sharpen. My advice would be that if you're going to try it make sure you try the different settings before you write it off. I started at 90/75 and thought it was brutal before going to 100/75 and loving it.
  13. No, I think that's what they wanted to put. I think if you look at their picture of it in the catalogue the epp just collapses under pressure while the FEP is more rigid. I know this sounds like it wouldn't help but I'm pretty it does.
  14. And yah, I'd assume they get it custom but like Shotty said they just have to grab the average bantam/midget player sizes/flexes
  15. My brother's XXXX's have that material (custom pro return's). I'm sure it isn't low end material, just not something that is as marketable as a new feature like hydramax.
  16. Wow those some awesome pics. Battery in my mouse just exploded. Scared the shit out of me but a good thing my hand wasn't on it at the time cause I was watching the game.
  17. I filmed my brother training last year on my iPhone and showed it to him once he was off the ice. It really helped him see what he was doing right and wrong and what he needed to do better.
  18. So the TotalONE feature has now been changed so that phase 02 (changing the way skates are made) is 19 days away, and phase 03 (Your first step) is in 50 days. Oh well. gerbe3:16: My understanding is the one100 will actually start out at a cheaper price than the one95 did, so I would assume the one80 would be a little cheaper than the one75.
  19. Unfortunately it's the hockey shop for you in Surrey.
  20. Got on the ice last night to ref 3 games in a row (Midget house, midget rep, and Juve rep). Two man system and my partner was bitching about his old skates he had to wear because his steel broke in his new ones on the weekend. Anyway we're standing in the ref circle waiting to start and I notice a rivet on the ice. Figuring it has to be from his we start checking his skates. All there, meaning its popped out of my one95's. Guess that shot I blocked on the weekend had some more serious effects then i thought. Anyway had to do one game with a wobbly holder before I got my one90's brought to the rink. Thinking all is fixed I throw them on only to realize the steel is so low that I keep almost falling backwards, not to mention the lower cut boot was definitely less comfortable. Lastly, now I have to go get my one95's fixed because we're still over a month away from totalone's (assuming they fit). Hopefully the rivet just popped out from being a little rusty and there isn't anything more serious going on in the heel of my boot.
  21. And lawgoalie perhaps made a pun on it. Interesting stuff.
  22. I used the blademaster one and felt like there was no bite on my edge. All the guys at the hockey shop recommended it but I like the FBV
