Couple of questions: What in the process of making these blades makes them lighter? Is it the blend of steel that you use? What makes them stronger? What about the blades makes them glide better? How is the edge retention vs Step, LS4, or CCM SB Blacksteel?

It is an upgraded 6092. Great skates, my shop sells them. I personally like the steel, I've had it on my 70K skates for a few months and they haven't really gotten too nicked up, or needed a sharpening.

I think the first one is the pro order form and yours is the retail, judging as they are not selling the XS holder to retail at all yet.

I feel like this system makes the most sense. In my area at least, most people don't buy the top of the line until it is on sale. We sell plenty of the $500 price point ones though. Edit: This also gives Brick and Mortar retailers an edge, by being able to do the scans.
