  1. Reviving this from the dead since I'm sure a lot of us have converted ice skates to inlines during quarantine.
  2. Yeah, Petter said that, which is why it's so damn confusing because even with that description he says they still don't feel as much like ice as the O1. They really need to get more information out there about the product. I'd like to hear from Pavel, Jeremy, Nasher, etc who had some good insights into the O1 years ago "H5-T8: Most similar to ice hockey H5-T15: A lot of heel movement but full contact during push offsH8-T8: Smoother feeling H8-T15: Most controlled feeling, less movement i general but still clear benefits from the rocker"
  3. As do I, but all I keep hearing is the R1’s don’t feel as much like ice which makes me think about sticking with the O1
  4. Thanks. Your sons haven’t had any durability issues playing with them?
  5. Those on the O1 chassis, are you using the flat set up or the smaller wheel in front? Does the smaller front wheel make that much of a difference?
  6. I switched all my sticks to Tacki Mac or tennis overgrip a few years ago and couldn't be happier. I use the Tacki Mac that looks like faux tape and I don't get why people say these things are too thick because this version is not thick at all. Tried the Kane version, but don't tape my sticks that way and like a little butt end. Tennis Overgrip is also great, dirt cheap, and while it does wear, it's cheap enough and easy enough to replace 2x a season. The wear on my palms after a season is about the same as a single game using traditional tape
  7. Were you pulling the shells over the kidney belt on your pants or tightening them below the belt? I'd guess the latter which is why they'd be longer. You should pull them over the kidney belt. This also makes sure they don't slide down
  8. I second JB Weld. Had holes through my wear patches and simply made new ones. For about $5, it was a no brainer before: after:
  9. Hey Per, a few follow up questions if you don’t mind. all this talk about the R1 being for roller and the O1 being for off ice training, does the R1 replicate the feel of ice skates in the same way the O1 does or not? Could you please provide more information about inserts and the effects they have on the rocker/skating? How easy are they to change? The short video on your site just shows it sliding in and out. Is it that simple? If it is, what keeps the insert secure in the chassis? Lastly, are the lower part of the chassis anodized, painted, powder coated? I know blue is your color, but do you envision black or silver being offered in the future? Something more understated
  10. Are the mounting holes for the O1 and R1 the same? Would it be worth upgrading from the original to the new chassis? Is there a substantially different feel between the two since one is a flat setup and the other is hi-lo?
