You aren't the only one. I hope knowing that you aren't the only one going through this helps, doesn't really help me but people seem to think it should.
-
I think most people would be surprised how good they feel, even with the single-piece fingers. I don't think I'll get to using them though because I really don't like stuff resting on my wrist, besides my watch.
-
You'd be surprised, they're extremely mobile. Backwards flex: Gap coverage: Forward flex:
-
The cuffs are matching, smooth to the inside and segmented with stitching on the top. Kind of a misleading pic but it's my standard "show it off" glove pose.
-
Figured I had plenty of short cuffed gloves in the collection and it was time to add some diversity.
-
Some nice pickups there, been thinking about getting a tapered one95 and a Perron 8.0.8, not that I'm a big fan of the 8.0.8 but his pattern is money.

Wow, glad I didn't bite on one then. Those things are just wickedly grippy. Rutroh, Wilson CLs might be invading the Mack household, look at that freaking wedge! No trouble getting out of the sandtrap with that thing.
-
The super sticky grip like on the OG yellow Synergys?
-
Actually remembered that I started a thread about badass goalie equipment. Pics in this thread include the infamous Wonder bread pads as well as the 4 leaf clover pads and other Battram/Brian's specials. Link
-
You forgot to post the Batman pads, I have them saved on my computer so I'll edit this post with pics when I get on the comp... Since I'm on the phone now.

This is cool. Notice the tips of the fingers on the right hand; the middle, ring and pinkie fingers have leather tips... WITH plastic inserts. Also the base of the thumb on the right glove has additional foam. Gloves are super stiff but they close fine. The fit is NOT like a normal Z-air, it's tighter and the fingers are shorter... They fit and feel exactly like an Easton 1350 but with two-piece fingers. Edit: Geez, $226 + shipping for the other pair of these on eBay!!!

85. Between whip and regular.

I Think you're measuring it wrong, no way it's over an inch. The Kovalchuk pro is 3/4" and the Niskanen is pretty much a retail Sakic with a weird toe shape.
-
Not retail, there have been some pro gloves with that palm. You can spot it a mile away.
-
Durasoft/Nash, overlay that goes up the base of the fingers, no?
-
There's no crappy graphic on them.
-
Pretty sure the NHL is 3/4" And confirmed: Click for Picture

Ut oh, hell is freezing over... The Leafs in the Stanley cup this year? Nahhh.

At least you didn't lose a $250 Mitutoyo micrometer you already had. For the life of me I can't find it. :(
-
Micrometers are useful, if not just a cool tool to have... But you could likely take the skates to a mechanic and borrow theirs for the measurement.

So I go to the doctor last week, again... Doctor tells me that it's most likely a torn ligament in my knee and tells me to get a X-Ray and go see my orthopedic. I, of course, question taking the X-Ray because obviously that won't show a torn ligament... The Doctor agrees but says it's procedure, so I do it. I wait a week and was "lucky" enough to get an appointment the morning after the Super Bowl(and I already agreed to be at a party... and I never break my word) and the day I have two tests in school. I of course left the party early, not long after the game ended but, for the past four months I haven't slept remotely well... some of you might understand some of that...but I'm not going to get into that. The XRay place is 30 mins from me and I already had it done and requested to pick up the report/films on Friday... Which they said no to, then I find out this morning when I call to see if they are ready that they were ready for me on Friday... despite them telling me they weren't ready when I called them on Friday. Soo there goes an hour of sleep, pick up the films and wait in the orthopedic for an hour for him to tell me that he thinks I have a torn ligament and that he needs a MRI to see how bad it is. He tells me to schedule a follow-up directly after the MRI, easy enough... The first available date is the 25th of this month... a little over two months since I was injured and told my PCP "I think it's a torn ligament." Oh and I still have two tests to take today and a pile of bills and errands to do... and it hurts a lot to walk but no biggie since we don't know for sure that it's a torn ligament.

I'd compare them to the XXXXs but these are tighter front to back in the palm. The pinkie is also a little stubby.
-
haha, sorry. :P Got them yesterday and just now was really the first chance I've had to get pics up. BTW, those Salmings are a very good pair of gloves.
-
Yup, extra pair from last weekend.
