  1. Buzz cleaned them out of $10 Inno shafts in December 520s are great pants, that's a big part of the reason that model has been around so long.
  2. Sorry, i try to avoid blocking shots at all costs.
  3. off topic conversation removed, again
  4. When I get home I will try to remember and take a pic now that the boot has been baked.
  5. With all of the marketing push behind them, it wouldn't be surprising at all.
  6. How do I always get the seat in front of the guy/lady that gets up 20 times and needs to grab the top of my seat every time they do it? Then they need to root through their bag and bump the seat a couple dozen times while trying to find whatever food they brought with them. And that was just while we were boarding the flight. Fortunately, we had a bunch of empty seats and I was asleep as soon as we hit 10k feet and I turned on some music and didn't wake up until we were over the Bahamas.
  7. I know Mission AG skates had a little bit of a forward pitch to them (neutral setting), but I didn't feel like I was too far out on my toes when I put the Makos on. To be honest, I didn't even notice the difference, they felt right to me from the first time I put them on.
  8. As has been said before; Not pricing at the top end of the market can give the impression that the product is inferior and negatively impact sales as well. And let's be honest, the people that are going to pay $700 for skates, are just as likely to pay $800 for them. Just like the people that wouldn't buy them at $800 would find another reason not to buy them at $600. Some people are going to criticize the product, no matter what.
  9. interesting, both of my boxes say 16 minutes @ 200
  10. I would expect some type of custom program from them at some point, but that is just my opinion. MSRP on Mako is $799 MSRP on APX2 is $849 MSRP on NXG is $799 Add custom charge to APX2 and you get $1000+ It would appear that I was wrong, Makos are cheaper than customs and I would expect custom Makos to cost roughly the same as custom Bauer skates
  11. Most people don't. It's amazing how many people put on a skate and decide to buy without ever standing or walking in them.
  12. Sure, but there is likely little to no difference in price between customizing a pair of makos (when it is available) and APX or NXG or RBZ or 9035 or ...
  13. It's possible that you supinate a little bit and that puts pressure on the outside of your foot when you skate. As for the D/EE question, a slight pressure will bake out. Pain will not. Make sure you wear any skate you are seriously considering buying for at least 20 minutes while standing and walking before you plunk down your cash.
  14. Most manufacturers only customize their top end skates, so you would be looking at paying a premium above the price of those skates.
  15. Given the issues Easton has had with their skate line over the last few years, it's more important to get everything right, than to get every possible price point covered this year.
  16. With the recession, most rental agencies have kept their rental units longer than in the past.
  17. Don't let "stupid things" frustrate you. If you're constantly upset about little things, it's much harder to enjoy life.
  18. Makos are not the lightest skate on the market, but they are , by any reasonable measure, a light skate. Easton has also never marketed them as being the lightest skate on the market. So far, these skates have provided a level of fit and comfort that has exceeded every other boot on the market for my foot. Can we please stay on topic?
  19. To be honest, I haven't used it. I'm only going off what most of my guys have said. I had 100/50, 90/75 and 100/75. Most guys thought the first two needed a little more bite and the last one bit too much, so I ordered the 95/75 and they love it. My best guess is that it will be more like 3/8-7/16. I only have one guy on my team that prefers the 100/50 and he never liked his skates right after having them sharpened. He always thought they were too sharp until now.
  20. I would go 100/75, he is sure to feel more bite with that. Most of my guys thought that 95/75 had more bite than 100/50.
  21. No, the picture he posted had additional type in the picture implying intent to injure players. Let's get back to FBV discussions and away from the other stuff.
  22. No, we don't like it when people troll topics looking to start fights.
  23. I just wear my uniform and I don't have to wait behind anyone, go through the nude-o-scope or dump out my coffee.
