    Yep, If you think that players in some leagues go overboard with having to wear the right brand or model of gear, you would be amazed at how stupid some of the referees are. It doesn't matter what fits, it only matters what they think you should wear. Around here, it used to be Graf skates and painting over the logos. Now it's Bauer Supreme skates and electrical tape over the logos. I can see how a logo on your helmet can cause you to miss calls or cloud your judgement. "A bunch of NHL guys switched to Stevens pants?" Well, if you want to do anything higher than junior high, you better spend $200 on the latest greatest padded pants on the market.

    I've reffed, coached or played on Superbowl Sunday more often than not. I think the local HS league is now off on SB Sunday.

    Just filled the last spot on the roster for the tournament in April. Now the wait for the inevitable cancellation begins....

    Nobody ever tries to stop the assholes that dump beer on kids or beat people up in the street either. It's great that this guy did this, and more people should do good things, but it certainly isn't representative of the entire fan group. Just as those assholes aren't representative of the entire group.

    I didn't think it would do well, but a couple guys on my team said they would have no problem dropping that cash for their kids. One of the kids is sitting out the entire season after his second concussion in a year or so.

    The 3030 was huge around here, but most of their composite products were not all that good until the One90 was introduced.
