  1. That just about takes care of that entire show, well, except for Dudley I think.
  2. Something I learned watching my father many years ago: a snowblower that runs in November never starts in December.
  3. God invented light switches for a reason. Get well.
  4. Helmets prevent fractures, not concussions.
  5. I still have a Tverdovsky laying around in the basement which is a nice mild mid/toe. I loved the original iteration of the Bure which was similar to the original Shanny, just a nice mid-ish curve with a neutral face. The Desjardins pattern wasn't too bad, reminded me a little of Easton's first Gretzky pattern. All that said, I will be sad when the Iginla gets over modified. I've loved it on Easton's one piece offerings but have soured on how much it has flattened out in the tapered blades.
  6. Sounds like P12 will be my only option pretty soon.
  7. Did you hit a patch of ice? Trying to figure out how the first car was able to stop abruptly but you wound up sliding into the pile from a safe distance.
  8. Another future payor into the system. Nice work, keep 'em coming.
  9. Just remember, you still have to eat and probably want to have cable/satelite tv. House poor is no way to live.
  10. Unprofessional language is always part of the issue.
  11. What happened sucks but tossing the f bomb around in the office never helps your situation.
  12. That is when you just sit back and wait for them to come to you and then force them and collapse. Most times those kind of guys never pass so it actually makes it easier to defend.
  13. You're lucky. As much as we don't want to hit animals in the road, if it is him or me, I vote him.
  14. Be happy, that means you aren't getting gouged on premiums.
  15. It was most likely a medical loss rebate check. If your in a small group then your insurance has to issue a rebate if they didn't spend a certain percentage of small group premiums on medical expenses.
  16. I beat him by 17 years. The reason so many younger men don't survive heart attacks is because they think they're too young.
  17. You can make all that money back and then some if you decide to flip the GLI tickets.
  18. The description was dead on for a cardiac event. Sharp pain between the shoulder blades and feeling like someone is sitting on your chest. Glad to hear it was muscular but keep an eye on the blood pressure. I ignored those borderline high readings and it almost cost me.
  19. Not to scare you but that sounds like a cardiac event. Please get yourself checked.
  20. On the flip side, telling him that the problem could be him is not really the best way to start this exchange. A better way of phrasing it would have been, "Why don't you schedule a fitting and we'll see if we can figure out something that will help you out." If there isn't any improvement to his spin rates during the fitting, then you can broach the subject of technique. If you walked into the LHS and said you were looking for a new stick to replace your crappy old one in order to get some more snap on your shot, how would you enjoy it if the sales guy's first line was, "It isn't the hammer, it's the carpenter."
  21. Well, when your daughter is ready, why not show her that Oscar winning performance in Marty, and then she'll be like, "Wow, that's the same guy." Although, heck, I'd just let her get a laugh at McHale's Navy and work your way up.
  22. If you go back through the history of cartoons I think you'll be surprised by what actors have lended their voices to characters.
  23. I think with that contract he needs to make a cameo at SJ and buy a round for the boys.
